i hope there's not another left-back saga at United.

apparently he hasn't signed his new contract yet and he even said it's possible he won't stay at Utd for more than a year. Shocked Mad

Ferguson has to do everything he can to keep him at OT.

Word going down on the street is that Ferguson is hoping for a straight swap with Lee Naylor

Naylor is the best left back in the world and at 28, he still has his best years ahead of him. Ferguson see's this and wants to snap him up before the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, etc step in. He's worth big money so Fergie hopes he can tempt Celtic with Evra

I don't think that's the reason he turned down (apparantly) a move to one of the Old Firm clubs. Being from N.Ireland, a move to one of these clubs could spell the end of his international career a la Lennon. But I have no doubt that your talking mince my bald companion

Rangers to miss out on hammer

West Ham's Northern Ireland international George McCartney has declared his intention to stay at Upton Park and not move to Rangers.
Gers boss Walter Smith was said to be very keen on the international left-back and it's claimed he is ready to make a move to take him to Ibrox in the summer.
Whilst McCartney says he is flattered by the link to the leaders of the SPL, he does not believe a move to Scotland would improve his game and is happy with life at east London.
"I'm happy with life at West Ham - I am playing every week in the Premier League," said McCartney.
"Rangers are a massive team but I don't know if Scottish football is really up to Premier League standards."

ditto celtic

Celtic are better than West Ham

Shammers defender George McCartney yesterday revealed how he felt that Celtic were a better team than London superpowers West Ham. Speaking on national television, the N.Ireland defender spoke of his desire to leave chav land and head to paradise. He said "I would love to make it to a big club like Celtic. West Ham are pants and I'm bustin my ass to get out of this dive". The interview continued with McCartney stating "Lee Hill is definitley gay". McCartney's statement adds fuel to the fire of the claims that Sky News favourite Mr Hill, does in fact prefer a bit of man jizim.

Speaking of McCartney, Celtic boss Gordon Strachan was asked what he thought of the situation. He replied "Who the feck is George McCartney and why the feck would I want the wee erse near Celtic. He can stay at Injurton United for the rest of his career the wee shower a sh!te"

ditto the rest of yer sh!te

SPL is [beep!], but Celtic are way better than West Ham.

I dont think Celtic are better than Westham. I know its off topic but i think if WestHam had all there players fit i reckon they would of been in 6th place. I dont actually rate Celtic or Rangers very highly at all but of course if they played Spurs we'd end up loosing Laughing

I think if Celtic were in the Premiership theyd sturggle to make top 10. Theyd try and play their high tempo game and loose the ball to often against much much better Defensive units and get hit way to often on the break.

I know theyve done quite well in the Champions League, but on the big occassions almost anyone can beat anyone, for instance Barnsley beat Chelsea and Liverpool i bet they loose to Cardiff. Smile

Well back to Evra i think he will stay at Man Utd for a few seasons yet, and then will leave and be replace by that Brazilian Left back and his twin will be the right back Cool

Yet if we had the money coming in that West Ham had then we could buy injury prone rejects in abundance too

Your right it is there own fault for buying those type of players. But if they could get them fit i think theyd be a decent team.

We bought Woodgate he was labbeled a crock, and since he signed he has only missed one game due to injury.

Guys back on topic please.

It'll be a shame if Evra goes. He's done very well at left back for us and is good for pace.

Evra stop stalling and sign a new contract Twisted Evil
