Staying On Topic and Quality of Posts

Hi all,

At the moment the forum is very busy, however I am a little concerned about the quality in some areas of the forum. For the forum to move forward, we need to ensure that all topics remain "on topic" and not turn into general chit-chat, otherwise we will be running the risk of all topics ending in the same way.

I have asked my Moderator team to clamp down on people who continuosly go off topic. For the good of the forum, I need your help also. For general chit-chat, you have MSN (or msm as Bluey calls is Wink ).

There is also a lot of topics surrounding politics. I don't want to see this forum flooded with politics. I don't mind a couple of topics regarding socialism etc, but keep it all in those topics, and do not let it spill into other threads.

Also the thing that makes a great member is the quality of the posts they make - not the quantity. Try thinking about your posts. I don't mean making every single post you make an essay, but at least put some effort in topics that you feel strongly about. Think about what your going to say before writing it. This way you will be able to ensure that you get your points across properly.

To move this forum forward, we need your help.

Good topic O Dogg. The Forum should always be looking to improve and move forward and if everyone takes this as gospel and sticks by it we shouldn't have the problems like we have seen lately in the "Coming/Going thread" and also in "Peoples choice Member of The Month". We all use this forum so everyone, not just Moderators and Administrators should ensure it is as tidy and on-topic as possible Smile
