It amazed me how critical he was yesterday...as if the girls were deliberately not trying and that there were no opposition players putting in challenges, blocks and tackles.He even went as far as shouting the length of the field at Emma about her choice of clearance- I just wonder what the players think when they hear his advice/criticism. I haven't ever seen any of the players react, they shouldn't really. I saw him talking to Mary Phillip and he seemed to be having a bit of a rant and she just smiled and said 'Alright, Ken' which is probably the best thing to do

I don't think is that well so it's nicer to leave him.

I did mention somewhere else that he was ranting as the girls were going into the ground at Wycombe for the League Cup Final 2 years ago - Rachel Yankey turned and said to him "Don't start already - we're not even on the pitch yet!" - but she did smile.

Fans generally look at the positive side in the women's game, I've found, and try and encourage, or are at worst neutral (apart from Ken, of course ).

I tried to speak to him once, he oesn't care what you say to him, he carries on moaning for me he is just a [beep!] and I can't stand idiots like him who makes game far from enjoyable to watch if I don't have my discman with me.

I don't see the point in having a go at players, they know themselves when they have played bad not to mention the manager and team mates commenting

One of my friends (not someone on here) said she wouldn't have waited to meet Arsenal after the league cup with how bad they generally performed, to me that's when they need support. Don't get me wrong I don't think I personally make a blind bit of difference.

I agree there is no point really, that's why if I think a player played badly I won't bother speaking to her. Because saying you played well to her when she has not is [beep!] and saying you played [beep!] is disrespectful as well.

There's no harm in saying something like "Never mind, these things happen" though, is there?

I said to kelly at the england game that I thought Arsenal played better at lincoln than the other games i've been to and at lincoln jayne asked if I'd enjoyed the game and commented to me that they were playing better I just said the games I'd been to.

As for Maria, i sat next to her a couple of weeks ago...never again! I moved yesterday and could still hear her but twas sweet as after each song she got a round of applause! Instead i sat next to a bloke who was there for a chat rather than to watch the game! x
