Bayer Leverkusen were absolutely destroyed in the Second half earlier on at home to the Russian Champions, it was frightening some of the superb passing Zenit were putting together, i think we could be seeing dark horses for the Cup here, providing they are strong enough to potentially see off Bayern in the next round, proving they both make it. The likes of Arshavin, Tymoshuk and the striker they have whose name escapes me are really class players it looks.

Anyone else watch this game?

The Germans were surprisingly poor today, and I can hardly believe that they are No.4 in Germany now. They often say that Leverkusen are "a playing team" - ??
The striker whose name you don't remember is Pavel Pogrebnyak - Pasha "Poleno" ("Pasha The Log" - for his manner being too far from elegant).
Alas but to see off Bayern is more of a wishful thinking.

The striker whose name escapes you is Pavel Pogrebnyak - "Pasha Poleno' ("Pasha The Log" for his manner, which is too far from being elegant - and for his missing a lot of chances last year). Arsh and Timoschuk - !!!! What a luck that they didn't leave Zenit this winter.
For all that, to see off Bayern is more of wishful thinking.

Not "a coach" - "A COACH"!

(For all that, to see off Bayern is more of wishful thinking.) .... but Getafe seems to be going to do it for us.

Tymoshuk - Diver. Dived against Scotland when playing for ukraine v scotland. He is a disgrace. Anyway apart from him Zenit have a class team. Russian teams should never be underestimated with the money they got they get many good players and this has been proven with some big results. 4-1 in germany is a huge score. Brilliant from what i seen on the highlights.

In the national team - maybe; but in Zenit he never plays such tricks as they are contrary to Zenit's style. He is a real leader, and nobody remebers now all that talk of his 20-million transfer a year ago as it obviously was a lucky investment.
Our guy Skrtel is more or less all right in Liverpool. All the luck to him, but I wish he were with Zenit this day as they have very serious problems in the centre of defence, and this may be fatal against Bayern ... or Getafe???
