As the Premier League nears it's end, who would you look back on and class as your single best player?

Torres. In his first season he bags over 20 goals. Great feet, skill and can take the bumps. Fantastic!!

I would say my team West Ham's best player has been goal keeper Robert Green...
Why he hasn't been chosen to play for England is still a complete mystery to me...

Was difficult to choose anybody else as most of our players have all been injured this season Sad

i follow Tottenham and it would have to be Keane. Scored the goals, led the team well. Malbranque has had a good season also

It would probably be Flamini for me.

Between him, Cesc, Adebayor and Clichy. I think that Adebayor rode off the quality of the service behind him and despite working very hard, he just doesn't have the ability to be the best player on the park. Cesc drags us through all sorts of games at times, but too much pressure is mounted on him and he's been doing everything this season which has clearly weighed him down and stopped him from being so effective. Clichy has been excellent but still had a few dodgy moments which have costed us in all competitions.

Flamini has been the most impressive and consistent in his position and his improvements have been exceptional.

^^ Don't forget Sagna. He plays like he's been with the squad for years. And he's been rock solid back there.

Well he went for the Toure look one week and lost his mojo and played terribly that game.

Toss up between Torres, Gerrard, and Mascherano for me. Singling out, I'll go with Torres because of the impact he's made on the team. He's lethal, and Liverpool finally have the scorer they've been looking for.

There are a few for United. Ronaldo is obviously having the seasonn of his life and it is hard to look past him, however we have other players who have been just as important this season - Rooney and Rio! Both have been absolutely fantastic again this year. Also Evra has had another solid season.

Only runners for Spurs are Keane and even tho theyve only been with us for half the season Hutton and Woodgate, two great signings for Ramos.

atm I really admire Paul Scholes for his return to fitness and form after injury. He was at the heart of pretty much everything good about United last week.

For us it is difficult to choose as no one has kept up a certain brilliant consistency, Kitson was absolutely brilliant earlier in the season but has since gone off the boil somewhat, Shorey has improved very well just recently, Hunt was very good early season but is not performing anywhere near that standard currently. Players like Rosenior and Bikey have been re-introduced in the last couple of months and have both impressed me a great deal. Although personally, despite sometimes his distribution being poor, i would have to go with Marcus Hahnemann. Time and time again this season he has kept us in games with some fantastic reflex saves, many from near point blank range, and has saved at least two penalties thus far.

Still his performance at the start of the year wasn't "bad". True though Carvalho has been consistent throughout.

Very good season for him, has looked more like the player we were expecting from Fulham but never got. I was slating him before the season started and my main gripe was his fitness, he could not play a full 90 minutes at the top tempo. But this season he has improved his fitness no end, and fully deserves his spot in the team.

For players that have been here all season id put him right behind Keane and Berbs in the player of the year race.

I hope we keep him as a squad player next season to back up our all new and top class midfield. Razz
