This is a very hard game to choose. Pompey of course will be favourites but West Brom have a decent team on paper. The likes of Phillips, Miller, Greening, Bednar, these are some qulaity players but it still doesnt change my tip for saturday. Pompey all the way.

In terms of the quality of both teams it should be a good game, i expect a rather cage affair but a few goals nonetheless. I will go for 2-1 to Pompey.

I'll be watching the FA cup Semi final instead of the Arsenal v Liverpool game...

I think it will be an open attacking game with lots of chances for either side
but Portsmouths's quality players will come out on top inthe end and win 2-1.....

West Brom are absolutely dominating early doors. Pompey can't get near the ball.

West Brom paid the price there for not actually creating any chances whatsoever with the amount of possession they have had throughout thus far. Pompey have been very poor indeed, Kiely initially made a very good save from Baros and was about to jump on the rebound and the Defender got in his way and it were an easy tap in for Kanu.

I think you guys are reading too much into WBAs possession, Pompey havent been as bad as the commentators are saying, all going to game plan so far, soak up pressure, let WBA have the ball deep then when they get it pump it over the top fast and try to get one against the play.

Brom's possession could of easily led to a goal, had they actually have been willing to have a pop or putting the ball in for Bednar. It was clear it wasn't going to plan in the first half, Redknapp was bawling at his players on a number of occassions, thy did not get hold of the ball, play it and were not having any effect.

If that was the plan then it is a very risky one.

Safer plan than having a go at WBA from the start, but yea dont think it went so well in the first half, will prove to be right tho.

On a side note, looking at that goal again it does look like Baros controlled that ball in for the goal with his arm.

Yea it did, was gonna hit his chest but he kinda put his arm there to half hit it so it fell where he wanted.

They really miss Defoe, Baros and Kanu were poor.
