Ashley Cole - 5: Got forward but did not get much chances, was beaten by Rooney almost everytime.

Lauren - 4: Owned by Ronaldo everytime.

Philippe Senderos - 7: A solid display. Made several big tackles and kept a close eye on Ruud van Nistelrooy. Justified his selection.

Kolo Toure - 6: A solid figure. A brilliant near-post tackle to deny Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney epitomised his determination and will to succeed.

Patrick Vieira - 5: Got overrun by United's midfield, and gave the ball away through sloppy psssing to often

Gilberto Silva - 5: Steady influence in the middle of the park. Good defensive work, providing cover in defence but could have been involved more.

Robert Pires - 6: In and out of the game. Impressed with some runs but volleyed way over with one of Arsenal's few decent openings.

Cesc Fabregas - 5: Barely touched the ball and didnt get into the game. Edu shouldve started IMO

Jose Antonio Reyes - 6: Impressed only intermittently. Isolated out wide far too often and sent-off in the final seconds of extra-time .

Dennis Bergkamp - 4: Rarely threatened and did nothing.

Roy Carrol - 6: Had nothing to do in the match as Arsenal only had one shot on target in 120 mins. Never really looked like saving a penalty.

JOS - 6: Solid perforamance, and he rarely gave away the ball.

Wes Brown - 7: Got forward often and helped crate width on the right handside when Rooney went Infield.

Rio - 7: Solid display and marked Bergkamp well. Unlucky to have effort ruled out.

Silvestre - 6: Gave away silly freekicks, and got booked. Played some exquiset passes to Rooney_79586.shtml'>Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo - 9(MOM): Got past Lauren everytime and put in some excellent crosses, worked hard and scored a good penalty.

Rooney - 9: Beat Ashley Cole often, had some great shots and set up other chances.

Keane - 9: Real Skipper's performance and lead his team. Some great taclkes, blocks and interceptions.

Scholes - 7: Whipped in some good corners, and worked hard. Missed the crucial Penalty.

Fletcher - 8: Very Solid performance and IMO unlucky to be taken off (unless injury related) made United look more solid.

RVN - 7: Played well when got the ball, had some excellent chances which he failed to convert, but was very unlucky not to score near the end.

Shows how much United played better then Arsenal.
