Umea so should have won! Edlund needs some shooting practice, get some power behind her strike, I've never seen a striker hit a ball so softly.
Marta has crazy pace in fact the whole 1st half was so frantic I think they all ran out of energy for the 2nd half, I nearly fell asleep at the end. I also thought Ramona Bachmann was great, good skill on the ball which makes her fun to watch, I remember her as a sub against Arsenal and she looked good then too. Frankfurt did some impressive passing but apart from that they looked pretty dull. I thought it was funny when Garefrekes got annoyed with bachmann's tricks and just took her out, in fact she did a lot of bad tackling! Looking forward to the second leg, bit worried for Umea as they didn't take their chances in the 1st leg. |
