Veteran Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia is delighted to have agreed a new contract with the club.

The 34-year-old Finland international will stay with the Reds until at least the end of next season, his tenth campaign with the club.

Absolute legend. Is everything we could ever have hoped for from a defender and more and to still be doing a job at his age just shows the class and professionalism he has.
