This match was played in Germany and im very surprised with the 1st leg result. I heard Getafe had some decent chances late before they got the late equaliser.

2nd leg is going to be very interesting in Spain but i just cant believe it. Bayern Munich the giants will have to work hard to progress.

Getafe have done really well this year in the UEFA Cup and they could be the team to knock them out.

Think Bayern are the stronger team and will come through the winner

2-1 to Getafe at the moment, half way through extra time. Theyve been down to 10 men since the 6th minute as well, amazing how they keep getting these results

Surely all over by now, I knew Bayern wouldnt win it! Whenever a team is this fancied to win something they usually mess it up.

Congratulations to Getafe though, yet another great win, especially considering they had 10 men

OMG!! craziness. Hats off to Getafe for playing 90% of the match with 10 men. And then to grab 2 goals at the start of extra time, only to give up 2 goals in the last 5 minutes.

How the frigg did that happen?! There was only something like 3 minutes when I checked it last. Looks like it might be their year afterall then..

Very very bad goal keeping. The first one the keeper had the ball in his grasp and for some reason it gets a bit loose, and Toni puts it into the back of the net. Second one was from a nice cross and Toni heads it down and it bounces in.

Jumping josabeans, what a game that sounded like. I thought Getafe must have done enough when they went 3-1 up in extra time, and Bayern came back?! Woah. Zenit against Bayern will be interesting.

Well, i didn't even set my dvr to record this game just flicking through channels, what a delight.
An unbelievable game ,the emotional rollercoaster continues for Getafe and beyern fans. How Beyern are down 1-0 to a team like that with only 10 men for almost the entire game defies logic. When you look at the players on that Munich team it's quite shocking Lahm, ribery,Toni, Podolski, Sweinsteiger,Klose and on and on.Incredible that they pulled it off once in the last minute of regulation and at the end of extra time.
One of the best games this year without quesrtion.

Im gutted for Getafe, Laudrups done wonders over there, and for a small team like Getafe to get this far in europe is emmense. Pity De La Red got sent off, i love watching this guy. Hope he comes to the premiership next season.

Abbondanzieri i would say could of prevented two of the goals had he not been so clumsy and his positioning was better. Considering De La Red was an attacking Midfielder and was playing in the heart of the Getafe defence posed enough problems, but to play as they did with ten men against one of the best sides in Europe arguably? They should be very proud.

when i saw getafe were 3-1 against bayern on SSN, with about 20 minutes to go, i thought to myself wow what an achievement. for a team that were in the second tier of spanish footy about 3 seasons ago, to then beat such a club like munich would have been an emormous feat.

unfortunately it wasn't to be. i havn't seen the highlights, but it sounds so harsh on getafe to get knocked out like that, in the last 5 mins to concede 2.
