Toronto have been trying to acquire Guevara for quite some time now, and it finally has happened. Toronto will hope Guevara can return to his 2004 form and spark some type of offensive movement for Toronto (however slight it may be). Will this Turn the tide for Toronto? I think not; they'll still have issues scoring. But his partnership with up-and-coming US international Maurice Edu will be interesting to see.

Guevara returns to MLS with Toronto
TORONTO (AP) -- Former Major League Soccer player of the year Amado Guevara returned to MLS on Wednesday, signing with Toronto FC.
The Honduran international midfielder was MLS' player of the year in 2004 with the MetroStars, since renamed the New York Red Bulls, and spent four years with club before being traded to Chivas USA. But he was released after playing only four games for the Los Angeles-based club in 2007.
"He's a different type of player. He can create and score goals," Toronto manager Mo Johnston said in a release. "He's talented, and we're very happy that he's signed with us. It's a chance for him to resurrect his MLS career in Toronto, and I know our fans will embrace him."
Guevara, 31, has 32 goals and 36 assists in 107 career MLS games.
Toronto had to surrender future considerations in the 2009 and 2010 MLS SuperDrafts to Chivas USA.
Guevara returned to Honduras after his release from Chivas, joining Motagua. He holds the record with 105 appearances with the Honduran national team.
