coppell will be gone at the end of the season.

he is fresh out of ideas and looks like he is going through the motions.

i still think the bottom three will go down but you are right, its a pathetic result for reading.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what Floody says about the performance.

You might be right about the bottom three Mr Hill, Reading will probably stay up by default.

Definitely makes things more interesting but I'm still thinking the bottom three will go down. Zarate will save Birmingham and the rest are a bit too far away.

I'm so angry and disappointed I'm not going to even bother with my normal lengthy match report. It was an absolute shambles of a performance today, all over the pitch from the word go. We again do not look like scoring any goals at all with blunt strikers and a pathetic Midfield who do not defend or look to get themselves on the ball. We lack an enforcer badly. Every single one of them was poor except Little, who came on for the last half an hour for his first performance in a year. Absolutely fantastic to see him back and every time he touched the ball hit was positive.

We are in trouble now and in all honesty with the games we have left, i wouldn't be surprised to see us in the bottom three come the end of the season.

going down going down going down..........!

Let's watch Mcbride save another tem from relegation like he did for Everton a few seasons back, only to have them not offer him a renewed contract for his effort.

it's obvious reading have no goals coming for the rest of the season, and as i said last season those guy's the pundits were giving much praise are overrated .

And to think, this match could have easily been 5-0 if it wasn't for the woodwork saving Reading on a few occasions.

I still think they'll be going down though. 4 matches left: Liverpool (H); Man City (A); Birmingham (H); Portsmouth (A). Birmingham being a very important match with them currently 4 points above Fulham in safety from relegation.

how many points do they need?

i see Liverpool (draw) Brum (win) Man City (win) Portsmouth (Loss) taht's 7 points if that's not enough it's curtains.

I think they'll be thrilled to see us up next - it's a guaranteed 3 points. We're single-handedly keeping Fulham in top-flight football. Laughing (For those that don't remember, Warnock had a big go at Benitez for fielding a bunch of reserve players against them in the penultimate game of last season which gave them a win, him claiming that that kept them up at the expense of his Sheffield United side.)

I quite like Fulham but their time to be relegated has probably come around. I'm half surprised they've lasted so long.

I was going to mention Mcbride after watching the highlights last night, It looked like he was the inspirational captain. He scored, hit the bar, was tracking back and defending and he even made a great clearance when Reading had a corner and nearly scored. Good performance from the Yank.

Bullard has had a massive impact since making his comeback from inury. If he was in there from the start i reckon they would of had a much better chance of staying up, still very unlikely they'll stay up even after this win.

I couldn't believe this result when I saw it - Reading are starting to badly slip right at the wrong time when teams around them are getting results...I hope the Royals don't go down, but it could be close.

All though i hope with all my strength that we wont, i can't see us avoiding it, Bolton are going to pick up another win at some point and we have the worst goal difference out of the battling teams. We are awful away from home and 3 out of the four games remaining are away from home.

You are spot on Steely also, whatever happens i think Steve will be leaving.

Georgie Porgie, if Reading go down mate, you can blame me. I am the worlds biggest blight. Everything I touch reagarding football bets, crumble. Fulham, havn't won away in 2years, big man bets against them, they put in their best ever performance. I apologise.

On a side note, if you's do go down, how much will Doyle & Hunt set us back??

Reading 0-2 Fulham
