They had more chances in the second half but it wasnt that bad, it was clear to see which team had more class and skill out there, there were some great moments of attacking play by us.

Unfortunately we lost all our width when Ramos took off Lennon who was having a great game, and Steed which sealed it for us and we went frustrated for the rest of the game.

Good to hear Lennon had a good game (not sure why Ramos did take him off) he has had an indifferent season thus far.

Lovely flick up by Berbs to hook the ball over for Lennon to cross for the first goal Very Happy

Lennon, JJ, Zokora were all good, great interplay with the strikers and getting forward well. Hutton was his usual great performance, this guy is class.

The three other defenders didnt stand out, Chimmy lacked concetration and Dawson made me nervous, Woody was ok.

That Alves looked quite tasty, and against United last week - I was half expecting him to be another South American Tyneside flop, but he has done well so far.

His disallowed goal didn't look too offside to me, but I may be mistaken.

Fair enough mate, I only saw it the once so was probably mistaken.

They can be a bit of a bogey team for us at The Lane - I went to a game v Boro about 5-6 years ago, had real nice seats with a bar in the corporate corner (got a lift up to the tier, none of your walking up stairs malarky!)
Anyway a splendid day out was completely ruined by them trouncing us 3-0. The b*stards.

Another game where we fail to hold onto a lead. There must be something in the North London air.

I think we're witnessing the longest close season ever - our season finished the moment Chimbonda scuffed that penalty wide.

I hope the players are focussed on finishing above West Ham and into the top half of the table. It isn't a great motivation but I certainly would like us to achieve that.

Spurs v Boro
