Can't see us winning the league no matter how we do in this one but it's still a must win game. Strachan has failed to score against Walter Smiths Rangers in 4 attempts. Thats a record. Hopefully he can sneak a win here and have them excreting themselves going into their two games in hand.

No doubt, Walter will play 5 in the middle with one lone front man so it's up to Robson & Hartley to get their boot in from the off.

...............Boruc

Hinkel...Heid..McManus..Naylor

Naka..Robson..Hartley..McGeady

.........JVoH...McDonald

Same team that beat Motherwell 4-1 basically. I'm going to put my neck on the line and say we'll dominate from start to finish and secure a 2-0 win. Well thats according to my heart. My heads telling me 1-0 to that crowd

Will be able to watch this as it is live on Setanta. I'm gonna plump for a scrappy 1-0 timmy win.

Win our next 3 games (Rangers, Aberdeen, Rangers) and we'd be 5 points ahead, although they'd have 3 games in hand but the momentum would be on our side and the pressure & fatigue might finally kick in. Im still hopeful!!!

I don't think we will but I havn't given up hope. We need to win the rest of our games. If we beat them twice, morale could dip. They still have some tough fixtures ahead. SO F**K YOUR MOUTH UP FLOOD!

Celtic won what i tell ye. JVH should of been off for that tackle on Novo. No where near the ball he was. Shocking!

Bar that Both Rangers goalies did well. Nakumara what a class goal. I must have jinxed him when asking why he been playing so poor lately

A yellow card was just for that tackle I thought, saying he deserved a red is going a bit overboard and would of just inflamed tempers from all around even more. The Old Firm games are always great to watch because despite the various countries the players are from, you always get a high level of commitment and passion no matter what. In terms of quality it wasn't great and Celtic did dominate the opening exchanges and deserved that fizzing strike from Nakamura, which moved through the air to find its way past McGregor. Too much room as given to Novo for the equaliser, but what a finish that was to squeeze it across Boruc from there. Cuellar obviously deserved his red card for that fantastic save! McDonald made it painfully obvious where he was going to put the penalty, good save from McGregor nonetheless. And then in true Celtic style, a superb ball from Caldwell, yes thats right CALDWELL, nodded on by McDonald onto the head of Big Jan who nodded it in.

On a sidenote, does anyone else view Barry Ferguson as a complete dick?

How crap was McDonalds pen tho, i knerw he was going to miss it, he just didnt look confident. They should have had Robson on it, hes great at penalties.

But great game to watch unlike the last old firm game.

NAKAMURA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, from what i saw Nakamura was amazing. Would've scored two cracking goals if it wasn't for a handball on the line. Doesn't matter though, it got the player sent off and won a penalty...

Although not converted.

Been away for a few days. What a game. Fully deserved the win to be honest. Controlled it from the off. Good to see Nakamura play a more central role. He's nowhere near as affective on the wing as he is straigh down the middle. McGeady was shocking, his worst game this season. McDonald was poor aswell. Glad to see Strachan finally grow some balls and change the system when we were chasing the winner even though I was going mental for taking Robson off. What a save by Cuellar. He was 60seconds away from winning the title with that save.

Still think it's a big ask but a win against the Sheep today and another win against this crowd next weekend and we're 5points ahead (with 3 games more played)

Smith cleverly set out to neutralise the threat of McGeady in the first half with Whittaker and Broadfoot almost suffocating him at every opportunity and despite that i think throughout the game he still managed tho whip some great balls in to the box.

He needed Naylor to be overlapping to take one of them away but due to Naylor being a complete sh!tebag, he was unable to do so. When Wilson replaced Naylor, McGeady started to come into the game more. Great result in the end though. Probably the best derby game in a long time

That handball in the box was terrible!! Saying that though I expected McDonald to bury the penalty that followed but seemed to scuf it, not to mention it was very easy to read and the keeper was already signalling a dive low to his left side.
