Just wondering how likely you think this trnasfer is. Real madrid apparently have him on a shortlist of 10young players for the summer and are repordedly willing to pay £4million for the 20 year old Hibs striker. I heard pedgrag mijatovic, Real's sporting director met with Hibs offic ials before ManU's tie against Roma last week.

I reckon if they do call he should go, would be a great opertunity for him, but i really doubt this move will materialise.

He's score goals for them I reckon. Don't think he'll match Van Nistlerooy or other leading la Liga scorers but would bag a few if he got a decent run in the team. That being the main problem though, I can't see him being a regular regardless of his goals. They are always going to want someone more glamourous and he'll fade away, before signing for Celtic for free in a few seasons.

I think he should stay in Scotland for a while but think the excitment of featuring for Madrid plus a few extra bucks, will tempt him

Well if he goes they would loan him out for a season id imagine, probably to Getafe as all the other young Real players such as Rubén De La Red. I think it would be a good move, and it can only benefit scotland having a player playing abroad in such a big league.

I wouldn't doubt that. And Caldwell would still be Dundees greatest ever player
