I've supported The Mighty Spurs all my life. My Dad has always been a fan and I've picked up my love of Spurs from him. When my Dad was very young he used to live quite close to The Lane with his parents (my Grandad was also a Spurs fan), before moving just outside of London to the area where I currently live.

I go to games as regularly as I can but that's not too often of late as I'm usually away studying. Nevertheless, I still follow Spurs as much as I can and can honestly say that I'm proud to be a Lilywhite, and always will be.

Been a fan all my life (44 now ) , used to stand in the enclosure , hence the name . My grandad used to work on the turnstiles , never missed a game for a few years home or away even in europe during our UEFA cup win , used to date a girl who's dad renewed the gold leaf on the cockcerel outside the lane , at the game when we won 9-0 and Ian Moores scored 4 (yep Ian Moores ) .......... sorry rambling .

Yo ive supported Spurs ever since i started watching football properly.

My parents bought me a Man Utd shirt when i was really young and made me watch there Champions League games . Then i started watching league games and what not and took a liking to Spurs and it all grew from there.

Right I'll answer this propperly. My Dad started supporting them in 67 when we won the FA Cup (I think it was 67) because he was a little glory hunter. Then my brother was brought up to support them and because I copied every thing my brother did I started supporting them.

My dad supported them because his dad did. Not sure how much further back it goes, but my dad is the reason I support them. When I asked him why he wanted me to support Spurs, he said he had to have at least 1 son to pass it on to. Basically my local club as well; could easily walk there if I wasn't lazy.
So I've been a Spurs fan all my life, had a season ticket for the past 3 seasons, and I went to my first game back in August 1997. (Vs Fiorentina, David Howells Testamonial, lost 2-0. I remember Batistuta scoring, and we wore blue.)
The first shirt I had was the 1991 shirt that we won the FA Cup in. I didn't really get into football until 1997, when I had to beg my mum for all the Spurs kits. From 1997 until 2004, I had every kit, not just the shirts, but shorts and socks as well (not goalkeepers).
I remember watching the 1999 League Cup final at home with my dad, and when Allan Nielsen scored, we went mental. It was the first piece of silverware I had actually understood that we won (being just 1 and a half in 1991).
I watched the 2002 League Cup Final in the bar at my first Football Club. I remember Christien Ziege equalising with a great goal before Andy Cole scored to give Blackburn the win.
I was at Wembley in February to watch us beat Chel$ki 2-1 in the League Cup Final. It was such a fantastic moment to be a Spurs fan; coming from behind to beat Chel$ki in a cup final, after thrashing Ar5ena1 to get there.
The best game I have personally been at was ofcourse the 5-1 drubing of Arsenal on January 22nd 2008. Words can not describe the buzz around the stadium on that night.

Here's my little story:

Being born and bred in Luton, I supported my home town team originally. What initially switched my attention to Spurs was Mitchell Thomas - the ex Luton, Spurs, West Ham and Burnley full back. My Dad knew him and his family really well; in fact his Mum used to work in our family business. My Dad introduced me to Thomas just after he signed for Spurs, so I started following their games too. That season Spurs reached the final of the FA Cup but lost to Coventry 3-2. Naturally I was also following Luton, and I distinctly remember the Town beating the Arsenal scum 3-2 a couple of years later, so that victory tasted sweet on both sides of my support!

I stopped watching league football for a while after that; my interest only kept in World Cups and Euros...international football really. What rekindled my love for domestic football was when Juergen Klinsmann signed for Spurs back in 1994. After watching the World Cup that year, I was amazed that a world class foreign footballer was happy to ply his trade over here and when I heard it was Spurs, I was over the moon. To me, that was when the Premiership as a top class product was really born as we started to see other great foreign players arrive over here. I've followed Spurs closely ever since, although naturally I always keep an eye out for Luton's scores too.

The first Spurs game I attended was a 3-2 home win against Coventry City and guess who scored for the away side that day???...a very young Robbie Keane!!! The best match I've seen was the incredible 7-2 annihilation of Southampton at the Lane - Glenn Hoddle was their manager!

I've only been to a couple of matches this season (City at home, Chelsea away) but plan to go to at least 10 matches next season.

Spurs been my fav english premier team since i was between 8-10 year old. Why then because when playing football we use to pick which team to be and i picked Spurs. Now 22 still follow them.

supported them since the late 80's when i 1st got in to football...properly...b4 then i was a millwall fan cos they were my local team...as i grew and realized they were pants i found the sexy football of Spurs and got hooked straight away!!

he does a stupid turn arond thing on the ball every time he gets it!! and theres never any end product with his runs...well not allways anyway!!

maybe if we were to play him through the middle but as a left mid he is shite!!

Considering he's been played out of position, I don't think he's doinng too bad.
