I believe that t be correct..... I have made some moves and not seen any points deducted, at least when you make the changes it doesn't indicate you will be losing 'X' amount of points.......

Not too many 'talking points' on this.......

Yeah I've changed a couple players in and out the last couple of week, no ill effects. I think the point system is a bit weird. They should follow the Premier League point system. Weird to have a player get -xx amount of points, while one player can get +40. It seems a bit skewed.

It helps if your captain is also a goal scorer...........

The scoring system needs to be simplified on it.

Is that the problem, or is it the MLS and who cares?

Depends on who it is. For me it's the scoring system. It's too complicating and it's skewed. When one player can get 40 points while another gets -10 (captaincy not being a part of it). It's crazy. It needs to be leveled off a bit from the defenders to the forwards.

Do you play the Premier League one?

I'm not sure which Premier League game you are speaking of, but I am playing in a couple as well as the UEFA games.........

I really think there is very little interest (if any) in the MLS, period. Seems like if you and were removed from conversing there would be no action at all here. Nobody does any reporting on individual games in there area, chimes in on topics, starts threads, it's really a bit sad but I feel it speaks volumes on how people perceive the league itself. Sorry, off subject.......

Yes, but you also have to consider, most of the people on this site that are active don't live in America. And well to be honest, if you don't live in America, I don't see why you would really be interested in the MLS. It's not a great product by any means to have people going out of their way to watch a match.

My goal here is to gather a bit of interest and at least get a couple people to follow the league, even if it's just checking a website for the scores, or playing in the forum game. It's better than nothing. And so far so good I feel. Aussie_Liverpool_Fan watched a match the other day, others are coming in and at least contributing a bit here and there. Before I came here, there was no one even visiting this sub-forum.

With Euro 2008 this year, it's going to be hard to generate more interest during the summer months. Die hard football fans will need to get their football fix in somehow during the summer. So what better way to get that fix in by watching the MLS and/or keeping track of it a bit. But this summer, that won't happen due to Euro 2008. But next year? Maybe they'll be more interest.

Also don't be afraid to introduce some of your football mates to join the site either. Whether they be people sitting next to you at a Galaxy match, or someone at the local pub.

And the Premier League fantasy league I talk about is from www.premierleague.com

Laughing This is all I can do/say about the whole thing. The MLS is really a lost cause to the rest of the world. Sad
