The award, based on the votes of members of the Italian Footballers Association:

Best Italian Player: Fransesco Totti (Roma)
Best Defender: Marco Materazzi
Best goalkeeper: Angelo Peruzzi (Lazio) (Now retired)
Best young player: Riccardo Montolivo (Fiorentina
best striker: Fransesco Totti
Best foreign player: Kaka (Milan)
Best coach: Luciano Spalletti (Roma)

What ya think ?

I dont understand why Mancini wasnt even nominated in the coach category....

All the prizes are derved imho. I think that Italian FA doesn't like Mancini as anyone else in Italy doesn't like him, so he hasn't even been nominated. Anyway Ancelotti, Prandelli and Spalletti all deserved the nomination so it has been the right decision imo
