For a club regarded as being the 3rd most important in Spain to be even in danger of
being relegated is unacceptable and it would be a major shock if the unthinkable happened..

I'm not surprised star striker David Villa wants to leave the club with it being in such a shambles!

Damn I watched the 4-1 lose against Bilbao on sunday and I've got to say that the team played against their own manager! They didn't even want to win, they wanted to see Koeman sacked. I think they felt very relieved when they heared about the sacking. Valencia will stay now in the La Liga, im 100% sure about that.

But I hope we'll see Canizares, Albelda and Angulo again this season. Exclamation

It was 5-1 actually.

I think we'll see Albelda, Angulo and Caņizares this season. Maybe not in the next match, but I'm positive they'll end up playing before the season ends.

Yeah Valencia won't go down now.

I haven't watched them much this season, but it sounds like they don't give a rats ass if they win or lose in the league. Whereas in the cup, they could actually achieve something, so they tried to win (and did so). Now Koeman has been sacked, the players will probably want to show some desire to win.

New Valencia coach Salvador Gonzalez 'Voro' has said he is willing to allow players discarded by his predecessor Ronald Koeman back into the squad.

Former player Voro was handed the job on Monday night following the sacking of Dutchman Koeman.

One of his first tasks has been to build bridges with stalwarts David Albelda, Santiago Canizares and Miguel Angel Angulo. In December, Koeman with the backing of majority shareholder Juan Soler, told them they would not play for the club again this season.

'They are part of the 25-strong squad and will play if I think they are in the mental and physical condition to do so,' Voro told a news conference on Tuesday.

'They haven't played competitive football for four months and have suffered a difficult situation. I don't want a sporting decision to be interpreted as a political one. I want to make it clear I am free to make my decision on this.'

Voro has a huge task in front of him and has to lift a divided squad's morale.

They are only two points above the relegation zone, with five games left to play, and have a particularly tough run in.

Valencia have three home games against direct rivals for the drop Osasuna and Real Zaragoza, and Champions League-chasing Atletico Madrid.
