After our win against the mackems last week we take on West Ham. We are looking for our 3rd straight win away to West Ham. Its clear that they have their problems but they have done much better this season compared to last season.
I cant see keegan changing the starting line up (as much as i want him to). so it will be this:

Steve Harper
Habib Beye
Steven Taylor
Abdoulaye Faye
Jose Enrique
Geremi
Nicky Butt
Joey Barton
Mark Viduka
Michael Owen
Obafemi Martins

I think with the momentum we have at the moment we should beat West Ham pretty easy. But we are behind them in the league for a reason. Their overall form this season has been better then ours but that doesnt count for anything.
Im gonna go with a 3-1 win for the toon...
HAWAY THE LADS!!!

Agree with you there Jac, I think West Ham are struggling to come up with 11 fully fit players.

West Ham 1 Newcastle 2

Aye, the Hammers squad has been slaughtered; and with Owen in the form of his season Newcastle should push past them with relative ease. The thing with Newcastle is because Keegan's reign has begun near to the end, there's a great positivity and the players are playing 100% 'till the end even though the games are meaningless. It makes them more dangerous than the likes of West Ham and Spurs who've given up on this year.

0-2.

You just don't know with the Shammers this season, the form book suggests they might be in for a beating at the hands of a revitalised Newcastle side, but I'm not sure if it is going to be as clear cut as many make out. Couple of young Lads looking to make an impression for them and despite the injuries I fancy them here, and I'm going to go against the tide and say a 2-1 West Ham win.

finally, i can start to feel confident about beating a team above us, and beating a team away. as mentioned above, we've got some momentum going now towards the end of the seaspn, im sure confidence levels are running high in the Newcastle camp. West Ham are struggling with injuries, so hopefully we can capitalize on this.

im going for a narrow 0-1 win for the toon.

At the very least....7 goals in 7 games for Owen...not to put too much pressure on him...hehe.

Newcastle for the win, 3-1.
