How can you question Grant when the team he picked beat Man United and are still in for a shout to win both League and the Champions League. He rested Makelele yet they win. Good play by Grant surely? |

Also, why were Chelsea players wearing black armbands because of Frank Lampard's bereavement? Next we'll be having a minute's silence in a years’ time for the anniversary...
It's got nothing to do with football, is ridiculously excessive, and if we all start wearing black armbands for instances like the aforementioned then we may as well just sew them into teams' kits. I know its supposed to be a sign of respect, but you don't have to publicly wear your show of respect, in order to respect a person or their loss. |

They dont want everyone to do it, it was a personal gesture they decided upon as a team. Surely its their choice, not like they even asked Man U to do it too. Why do you begrudge them that? |

Well, its all about opinions this forum. Heres mine fella: P.R.I.C.K. |

Yeah, good point. Rio for captain? Not a chance after that. Way he was going on at the ref too was out of order. |

Yeah, Whiskey nose should look back a few weeks at the William Gallas penalty at Old Trafford. He didn't complain about that one which all but mathematically ended Arsenals title hopes. As for the game it looked like a cracker, i really wished I had watched it now. I caught some of it on match of the day and it seemed to have the lot. The players were so determined and you could see how much was at stake, it was great to see that kind of passion. Well done Chelsea! |

Ugh, crap performance and Chelsea deserved the win.
Fergie and Quieroz were embarrassing after, I actually felt ashamed of them when I saw the interview... Bad day all round. |

I find it weird that the Chelsea groundstaff fought the united unused sub, are they trying to get them suspended for the last two games of the season?

I guess he was just the guy who got in the way of the groundstaff trying to do their job.
Anyone see Evra's face during the incident? He looked like he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting or something, his tongue was sticking out and his face was all puffy. |

Indeed. But it's also about reasoning your opinion; failure to do that often gets you ridiculed. Though i think you're being over sensitive, or misinterpreting me, if you’re actually serious. |

I suppose it isn't bad. I wouldn't say i begrudge them it, i just dislike it. I dislike the need to make a public gesture - it suggests to me they care more about how they're perceived, individually and as a team, rather than supporting Lampard in this time. I don't believe any gesture needs to be made public is all. It transpires as fake. I'm also a little baffled by the coverage his mums' death has got too. That's perhaps what the 'excessive' remark stemmed from, even if indirectly related. |

If Gerrard's mum died they'd cut her face into the grass at Anfield.... |

And i'd wholeheartedly endorse it.

ha ha ha ha ha ha! My god the sh*t is thick over here. Is it really about "reasoning your opinion"? You my friend are having a laugh. I tried to get you to get you to "reason you opinion" about 50 times on another thread and you still haven't ,i gave up in the end. |

It's kinda funny how you say that yet i posted a similar instance of where you've totally ignored my post (made directly to you), despite posting in the same thread after it, and hence must have read it. Hypocrite, much?
