What a cracking goal that was. Completely unstoppable.

Looks like this game could make up for the stalemate in the first leg.

I was right, United have edged it. The edge being Barcelona's uncontrollable nerves. At one point i expected them to break down and drop to the floor in tears. The period after the United goal up until about 5-10 minutes from the end of the first half was absolutely pathetic. Their passing was atrocious - the defenders half the time just stopped on the ball and waited for United to take it off them.

They've looked better but i wonder how they're going to penetrate United's defence. For me i'd get Henry on after the impact he had in the Nou Camp.

Either way i think United are in the final judging by that first half... next goal could well and truly determine the tie.

Gianluigi Zambrotta is an idiot! Barca were playing well until he messed-up. They were putting some good passes together, attacking well and getting Messi into the game. The were also putting United under pressure when they had possession of the ball and they weren't giving them time to play but then Zambrotta played the ball into the middle straight to Scholes who produced a fine strike. a player of Zambrotta's experience should have made a mistake like that... you make mistakes against United and you pay for it.

I think Barca will score, they have a goal in them but I also think United will score. The Barca defence have looked shakey and Adibal looks suspect in everything he does... in an attacking capacity Mainly.

Man Utd were poor first leg but did what needed to be done tonight.

Barca were a joke for both legs. All that possesion and not a single great attempt on goal nevermind an actualy goal.

What a strike by Scholes... Possession doesn't mean much if you don't score and it was proven in these last 2 games. Valiant effort by Messi and Puyol in the dying minutes but it just wasn't meant to be.

Have to tip my hat to United for doing it without Rooney and Vidic.

Hopefully I see you all in Moscow.

That was a silly game.

Barca were just hopeless when trying to create anything. So frustrating as the likes of Iniesta and Messi at one moment could look amazing with their control and then look really poor in their end product.

United deserved to go through in the end, but that isn't saying much. The Catalan side was a nervous wreck, mentally abysmal, and you began to know they were never going to come close to scoring.

Roll on a repeat of the 2007 FA Cup Final!

Barça didn't play great games (isn't a surprise because if you had seen some Barça games this season played worse), but if Barça were a joke, what were United? The team that United fans say that play the best football in the world, were 75% of the time defending and won thanks to a Zambrotta's mistake....

Barca had so much possesion of the ball but just couldnt create any clear cut chances
It seemed like they wanted to pass the ball into the net instead of giving it a blast towards goal!!

Anyways well done to Man U in reaching the final...Apart from those silly Argentina chants grow up!

Looks like Barca's coach will be heading off somewhere else at the end of a trophy less season..Adios!

A beautiful goal from Scholes ! Shocked

Evra is impressive, Ronaldo too. It could have been a draw. I don't know about the ball possession but i think it is a draw too.

Well United were terrible last week but got the job done, we set out to stop Barca scoring and they didn't come close, the only downside was attacking, defensively we were outstanding both legs. but tonight created quite a few good chances for Park Ji Sung and Nani. Moreover we went up early so the onus was on Barca from that point and Man Utd went for a counter attacking game which would be the logical thing to do. It's no suprise Man Utd defended plenty tonight because we scored early.

Man United did the job and thats that. Should of had a penalty when Milto "spelling wrong" decided to pretty much elbow Ronaldo when was a corner. Barcelona like already said had plenty possesion but did nothing with it. Messi did well and Toure did well also. Nobody else for Barcelona never really stood out. Brown i thought was pretty solid for Man United. Not alot of people like Brown but put on a good performance tonite.
Tevez for me was man of the match. Ran his heart out just kept on running and chasing dead balls. Thought Park did well also.

Not so much a poor Barca performance as an excellent counter performance from United, splendid defensively and potent in attack. Can't really ask for much more than that!

The work-rate of the players tonight was just immense, it carried us through, Tevez in particular made me moist between the legs...

Aaaaaah, still hasn't sunk in yet! Champions League Final in 3 weeks! Get in Smile Smile

Also I thought Ronaldo was much more mature tonight and played for the team so after crucifying him last week I really have to commend him tonight. If he played like that every game and found the right balance then I'd probably fall in love with him Laughing

YEEEEEESSSSSSSS!

I'll give me feelings tomorrow, I'm just too buzzed right now.

Well done Man U the best TEAM won and deservedly so.Man of the match should be J.S. Park the guy was all over the field. At one point i thought i was seeing things.Park started an attack and was in the opposing teams box on the right side of the penalty box.The play is broken up and the Barca are attacking just at the half way line on the left of the pitch, who's there breaking up the attack.........Park.I couldn't believe it in a matter of seconds he's back there busting a hump for the team.

Evra deserves a shout also. more testament to a man who never looses quality game after game regardless of level of game.Fantastic goal from one of the bet British players in history ,even though his level of [play has diminished over the last couple of seasons.
Anyone who thinks Ronaldo is better than Messi is having a laugh. Messi didn't score but was affective as long as his lungs could hold up.He showed the difference in quality between the two players for everyone top see. Now, when i said Ronaldo is not an effective dribbler Messi, ronaldinho and Hleb are the players i measure him against ,because they can do it against any team more consistently.Ronaldo played better than the first leg ,but that wasn't going to be difficult,so he was little better than non existent.

Barca has no teeth in their attack eto'o really needs to be looked at in the same vain as Ronaldo as he hasn't done a thing in these two legs.We are talking about a player considered for world player of the year not so long back and he did absolutely nothing ,even worse than Ronaldo.
As i said after the first leg and years before ,i do not see how players like Iniesta, xavi and Deco are so highly rated ,i just don't see anything worth the hype they get.

I saw fear again in the Man U side at the start of this game ,and but for the ineffective strike force of Barcelona they would have been beaten. After watching how ordinary Man U looked against a team in turmoil logic would tell me that the should loose in the final. But this game has a way of shocking you.The only certaintees in todays game is that Ronaldo will be ordinary in the big games .

eto'o was shockin specnur, but its nothin like ronaldo. eto'o has not been the same for a good year now. I watch barca every week and he is not the player he was after he spent so much out last season. While ronaldo has been at the top of his game. not fair to compare the two.

Park's stock must be sky rocketing. Hopefully he gets more action cause he's looking like the player who was so good for PSV.

Manchester United vs. Barcelona
