Arsenals season is over and they have nothing to play for, and were poor against Derby. Everton still need points to guarantee 5th spot and a UEFA cup place, I can't see anything other than an Everton win.

How's Arsenal's record at the Emirates, with regards to losses or being unbeaten and such?

Arsenal are defending an 11-match unbeaten home league record against Everton.

The Toffees have only picked up one point from a last possible 33 in away league games against Arsenal, from the 1-1 draw in last season's corresponding fixture.

The Toffees last returned from Highbury with three points on 20 January 1996. The 2-1 victory, in which Graham Stuart and Andrei Kanchelskis scored, is Everton's only Premier League maximum, away to the Gunners.

Home and away
League (inc PL): Arsenal 83 wins, Everton 54, Draws 36
Prem: Arsenal 19 wins, Everton 5, Draws 7

at Arsenal only
League (inc PL): Arsenal 57 wins, Everton 16, Draws 13
Prem: Arsenal 12 wins, Everton 1, Draws 2

Everton are long overdue a win by all accounts.

I don't think it quite works like that. Wink

Do you know how Arsenal's record is in general at the Emirates?

They've only lost once (in any competitive match) and that was last year against West Ham.

i cant see Everton gettin something from this game. Arsenal dont have anything to play for but they will still want to end the season on a high. My prediction is 3-0 to Arsenal!

third place isn't high enough?..

3-0 would be a ridiculous prediction.. jac.. although i know you dislike the toffees.. but they're not a shiet team like derby or fulham..

i'd still predict a slight win like 2-1 to the toffees for this one.. as.. moyes > wenger.. Razz

Arsenal dont have anything to play for, they cant move in the table. How is 3-0 ridiculous?? If Arsenal are playing like we know they can they can beat anyone in the world 3-0. When have i said i dont like Everton?
my prediction is 3-0 so we will see how close i am on sunday (i think thats when its on)

3-2 Arsenal

adebayor to score and fabregas to get 2

lescott and pienaar to score

this would help me soar into first place in my fantasy league team

3-1 to Arsenal. Pressure is off Arsenal and is definately on Everton to finish in a Uefa Cup spot.

that's my point.. they can't move anywhere.. so no point to force themselves in getting points.. it'd be nice to give the youngsters like gorgeous walcott chances to play more instead.. Razz

yeah.. it's a little bit ridiculous.. it's like saying we're going to trash the hammers 3-0 too.. Confused

nope.. you never said it.. i just sensed that you don't like them.. my bad.. Sad

If the mancs lose today then we will have everything to play for! i know its only a slim chance, but there IS still a chance of winning the prem so why not try till the very end! i dont think the team would go out thinking...oh well, we cant move anywhere so lets not try and get any points. they'll want to win every game, regardless of whether there is a reward. but thats just what i think Smile

Well no Fabregas in Midfield...

4-4-2 now...

Fabianski
Toure
Gallas
Song
Clichy
Eboue
Gilberto
Denilson
Walcott
Bendtner
Adebayor

I think a draw is on the cards. Most probably a scoring draw like 1-1 or 2-2 IMO... But I'll be happy with an Arsenal win obviously... Smile

Pretty even First Half IMO. A couple of chances to either sides but no goals until now...

Adebayor had two chances with one shot on target(Howard saved it) and Gilberto put 3 headers off-target...

Eboue is having a poor game IMO. Walcott is also very silent... But Song is playing well IMO...

Maybe a goal or two in the second half. I still think it'll be a 1-1 draw...
