Bank Holiday Monday sees Chelsea vist St James Park and take on a Newcastle team who have turned things round. Chelsea have a poor record at St James Park, scoring just 3goals in their last 5 league games. However, Chelsea will be giving their all as they know that if they dont pick up three points their title hopes will be gone.
I expect Newcastle to keep the same 11 which is unbeaten in the last 6 games. This is how we will line up:

Steve Harper
Habib Beye
Steven Taylor
Abdoulaye Faye
Jose Enrique
Geremi
Nicky Butt
Joey Barton
Mark Viduka
Michael Owen
Obafemi Martins

This is a massive test for Newcastle. It will be the game which will show just how much we have improved as a team. I think Chelsea will be too good for us and the 4-3-3 system will not work against them as it has against poor teams. If Newcastle dont start well it could be nightmare.
My prediction for this one is 1-3

I know that definitely won't happen seeing as you obviously don't know very much about football.

I'll go for a draw 1-1 with a goal of Anelka. Smile

I can see United effectively winning it here (granted that they won't lose to Wigan) by Chelsea failing to beat Newcastle.

Maybe people don't know that Chelsea have failed to win their last 5 visits to St James' Park. I know it doesn't necessarily mean much (shown by United against their own bogey side West Ham), but it's worth considering.

2-2.

It should be a good game. Chelsea have to win after the Man United game and Newcastle will want to get whatever they can out of the game to send the fans home happy. I stil dont think we will get anything, i hope im wrong though....

with whats at stake for Chelsea, i think they'll make it a very hard game for us tomorrow. we enjoyed a nice run toward the end of the season, but i think it will end now. i predict Chelsea to win 2-1.

Chelsea to suck all the life out of this game and stifle the high-octane Newcastle attack.

Should be routine. 1-0 squeaker with another Ballack header, if not a Drogba strike between the keeper's legs.

Laughing If it comes true then I'll definitely buy some tickets.

History has proven, and those who have seen my NBA predictions can attest to it, that everyone should steer clear and bet AGAINST whatever I say. Laughing

Watch this be 5-5 or something Laughing

If it's Drogba, it should be near the end of the 1st half.

Ballack's will be off a set piece or a cross from the wing in the mid-second half.

Again.. watch this all NOT happen Laughing

Chelsea team selection looks like they are focusing on the CL Final, given up a bit on the league. Cant count on Wigan to take points off Man U.

Well this seems to be a better game than the two games yesterday... Smile

Fantastic goal-line clearance from Terry to deny Newcastle. Great decision making IMO...

Quite even first half there... 0-0 HT now...

I think either side can win the game by nicking a goal IMO. But it looks like it might be a 0-0 draw...

Chelsea has started the second half brightly and are looking like scoring soon...

Terry was denied by the crossbar already...

1-0 Chelsea. Typical Ballack goal(Header)...

I really don't know how the Newcastle defense could let Ballack to head the ball in there...

Poor defending IMO...
