Everton slipped up in their chase for the title today by being held 2-2 by Birmingham at home.

The home team got an early chance with a dubious penalty in the first five minutes after already hitting the post.
Fara Williams converted, but Brmingham equalised.

A second-half corner was headed in by Nat Dowie, but Birmingham equalised again afted a ball bounced over Danielle Hill's head and a Birmingham player was able to pun on an easily put the ball in the net.

I hope you enjoyed your introduction to the Everton ladies Bluey Wink

You will notice that the ladies don't roll around in agony when someone breathes on them, unlike the men.
Although your charming little daughter did notice that a player who seemed to have an ambulance on the way did manage to run off when substituted Very Happy

And I've been looking for a report from you saying:
"Freezing. 2-2" Laughing

Ron will be posting some pics, but he was as surprised as everyone else when the ball was placed on the spot for Everton's penalty; we all thought it was a goal kick.
But, referee Mr G Etchells must have seen things differently Rolling Eyes

FA Women's Premier League

Watford ladies v Everton
Saturday 3rd May, KO 2:00pm @ Berkhamsted Town FC, Broadwater, Berkhamsted, Herts.

Everton Ladies v Cardiff
Sunday 4th May, KO 2.00pm @ Cronton.

I don't suppose Everton will have full-strength teams for each game.

(These fixtures have already been posted on fixtures section)

Everton beat Watford 4-1 (which shlj watched) and today easily beat Cardiff 6-0.

Everton were 4-0 up after 20 minutes or so, although Cardiff came closest to getting the first goal after their player went past Rachel Brown (now back in goal after her injury) but hit the side netting.

The floodgates didn't open as expected, but, still a good win for Everton.
