Robinho is a very important part of Real Madrid, that's very true. But he's as important as Guti, Raul, Casillas and Van Nistelrooy. And I like Heinze when he's not injured...

I do too. When he's not injured he's one of the best left backs in the world. As is our right back.

Stark contrast to the date when the last post was made..Think since then, coupled with Barca's inconsistability, the league's playing out pretty well for REAL.. 10 points with 5 games to go,really believe that only a nightmare finish will deprive REAL of the league..
I'm not a particular fan of Schuster-don't think he's a good coach-just a rather lucky one,but that's what the management feels..we'll see next season how he handles the team,Capello did a fantastic job but guess the board had issues over his handling of the club.
Right now,I really feel that there're other better coaches out there still unemployed that could really turn REAL back into a European force.Schuster is just lucky,he's for me, not the type of coach that really can turn things around when the going gets tough:i.e. subsitutions,formations,tactics..For example,Manchester United..Ferguson is a blessing for Manchester, when the situation needs a drastic change,he's the man to do it..wonder what they would do without him..
Guess this year would be salvaged from a disaster with the league title, but for me, a club like REAL, should really be better than just the domestic league.."Raul",haven't heard from you in a while, what's the latest steming out of Madrid?.

I think Schuster is a good manager, potentially talking at least. He's made several mistakes but he will get better if we give him stability and time.

By the way, I haven't been able to log in here, I kept asking to send a new password to my email account but I didn't work. I even emailed some of the admins but it seems that they just ignored me Rolling Eyes Thanks for noticing though, DCM Very Happy

I hope that too. But now...

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

We beat Osasuna while we were only 9 players on the pitch. Robben and Higuain scored. After that, the player took a plane a flew to Madrid so they could celebrate the tittle in La Cibeles with all the supporters as it's the tradition. Some pictures:

The team after defeating Osasuna:

Raúl kissing La Cibeles:

That's 2 in a row! Very Happy

Madrid have become a team to fear or the La Liga has become dull, probably the latter considering that Madrid were knocked out early against A.S. Roma.

Congragulations to Madrid. Have to say i think Casillas was the best the most outstanding player in La Liga this season.

Theyve never seriously challenged Real though, barca were the closest team for most of the season but like every year Villerreal have a very strong finish. Hopefully they manage to hold onto second place ahead of barca now.

El Classico tonight and as far as I know Barca have to do a guard of honour for the Real players, they had to do it a few years ago as well didnt they?

Real Madrid have announced that they will end their season with a trip to Saudi Arabia to square off against local side Al-Nasr.

The friendly match is scheduled for the 20th May, in which Al-Nasr will pay tribute to their greatest ever striker, Majed Abdullah, who scored 533 goals for the club during a sparkling career in domestic Saudi football.

Abdullah, now a television pundit for ART, never received a proper sent off at the end of his career and the club are now ready to put things right with a testimonial for the player nicknamed the 'Arabian Pele', who is also the highest scorer in the history of the Saudi national team.

The two teams have previously met at the World Club Championships in 2000 - a game that was comfortably won by Madrid thanks to goals from Nicolas Anelka, Savio and Raul.

Madrid have a strong following in the region and there are sure to be thousands of long-distance Madridistas in attendance looking to celebrate the team's recent league title triumph - the 31st in their history.

Blimey, i must have said this a thousand times.

Back in 2002, my brother got a world cup sticker book. I read through it, and became fascinated by a few players. In particular, Luis Figo. I read more about football and footballers. My 3 favourite players were Figo, Raul and Roberto Carlos. I then started watching club football for the first time, and the obvious team to watch considering my 3 favourite players played for them, was Real Madrid.

Before then i'd never followed club football. I'd only watched a bit of international football. I loved playing football, but didn't really enjoy watching, and therefore didn't follow a club team - just England when we were in major tournaments.

So, Real Madrid are the team that got me into football. Before them i wasn't even a fan of football. Without them i wouldn't be here right now, and may not even be a football fan at all - letalone Liverpool.

I'm grateful, and owe them for opening my eyes to most amazing sport on earth.

Discovering Real Madrid, for someone who knew nothing about football at the time, left me in awe. It's an amazing club. When you aren't aware of what they've achieved, and read back from the players they've had, and what they club has done, you're constantly thinking wow, how can there be more. But there is, the history and success is phenomenal. I wasn't aware of that when i started following them at first, so it was a real treat.

As amazing as it sounds, before reading through that sticker book, i hadn't even heard of Real Madrid, so it was really amazing to discover something so great, that i'd never heard of before.

You should probably save that in a word document to save time writing it out in the future.
