I can't stand Murphy, the fatfaced fcuk!! I remember Higgins destroying O'Sullivan that day - he hit an record unanswered points that night if I recall correctly? But O'Sullivan was almost gifting him chances that night - he totally lost his mind. With Higgins, he'll always remain competitive and professional, won't give up at all. To be honest, out of all the players that currently play there are only three that can play snooker of the highest quality, and by that I mean "one chance snooker" - give them a sniff and they can clear the table frame after frame. Those three are Ronnie, Hendry and Higgins. Hendry is the greatest of all time, no arguments. Higgins should have won a lot more than he currently has, but inconsistency seems to be his achilles heel. Ronnie should also have won a lot more than he currently has, but in my opinion, put all three of them at their best and Ronnie would win. At his best, no one can touch him, and I believe even Hendry and Higgins have even admitted as much. The weakness of Ronnie is his mentality. Somtimes he loses the plot, hence why I wouldn't bet on him. Having said that, he seems to have his good head screwed on this year, because he's guaranteed world number 1 next season and is in the world championship final. Amazing talent. |
