I think Crystal Palace will win promotion now via the play offs...

They have been on a tremendous run and thumped Burnley 5-0 in their last game!

Watford are in free fall after doing so well earlier in the season and were lucky to even make the play offs.

Bristol City have played above themselves and wont be able to keep it up in the semil final against Palace.

Hull city just dont have the players to take that final step even if they have the best team spirit and passion

So I expect a Palace v watford final and Neil Warnocks men to triumph by at least 3-1 at the new wembley!

I think Watford only made the playoffs by 1 goal if I remember correctly. Would've been good to see Wolves in the playoffs instead of Watford IMO.

While i'd love to see Bristol City in the Prem, thinking about it, it is a bit too quick. Straight up and straight down - could wreck the club.

what a f*cking goal from Noble ,unbelievable strike.I just come back from the gym to find to my horror that my dvr wasn't recording the game ,swithches the game on at the 89th minute to be greeted by a beauty like that. Over the moon doesn't fit the feeling right now.I was following Bristol City when they were last in the then 1st division, going up would mean so much to the city of Bristol even if it's just for a season. Anyhow the job's not done yet ,but what a start.

Fantastic game and what sounded like a fantastic atmosphere. Know a guy from Australia was over there and he said it was just brilliant.

Fantastically worked set piece for the first goal - completely caught Palace off guard - an awesome finish as well.

I thought Bristol had missed their chance to take a lead back to Ashton Gate after giving away a very silly penalty. Just goes to show how players can go from Hero to Zero.

Thankfully for City, the "goal worthy of winning any match around the world" as the commentators put it, got them what they deserved on the balance of play and that's the lead to take back for the second leg.

Hull 2 - 0 over Watford after 24 minutes Very Happy

Barmby with the first, Dean Windass with the second. That's Deans' 200th career goal.

Nicky Barmby - great player in the 90's.

Great scoreline, so far, for Hull City - Watford have been on self destruct for the last couple of months.
Amazing result for Bristol City yesterday, that I didn't expect.

I want Watford to come up because of family ties, but seeing as they were only up a few seasons ago it would be nice to see Bristol City, or Hull (at a push) playing in the top tier next season.

Comon Hull!
Its great how some of their players have been with them from when they were in the third division. I hope they make it to the prem. Looks a nice ground for me to go to next year if they do! Cool

Nick Barmby, what a legend!

0-1 Crystal Palace going into extra time. 2-2 on aggerate.

Now 2-1 Bristol City 8 minutes to go.

Lee Trundle with a beauty and McIndoe with a good free kick also.

Bristol City in final.

Half prediction right so far

Fair play to both those teams, good on them considering both Palace and Watford have been in the top flight recently.

I'm glad Warnock didn't do it, not particluarly a fan of how his teams play.

I'd like to see Lee Trundle in the Premiership, though it would also be good to see Barmby back in the big time.

Only thing that puts me off Hull is some of their fans - apparently they were quite distasteful when visiting Loftus Road around the time of the 7/7 bombings.
