Well since the Title fight is going down to the last game and since both the games are happening at the same time, I thought we can have one thread for both the games so that we can post all the developments during the pre-match and also during the matches in the same thread which will be interesting IMO...

What do you guys think???

I'll go for a 0-0 or 1-1 draw at the JJB and a 2-0 win at the Stamford Bridge and Chelsea to win the title... Very Happy

Yes that''s fine. I will go for a 2-0 win to Man Utd at the JJB and a 0-0 or 1-1 at Stamford Bridge and United to win the title. The bookies have them as favourites for the double. Very Happy

I'd love for Wigan and Bolton to win, it'd be bittersweet awesomeness and I'd just love to be put through that turmoil on the day if only to feel the relief afterwards.

It'd probably be like masturbating with a handful of blisters.

Laughing Laughing Laughing

But even though I can see Wigan having an outside chance of beating or atleast drawing ManU at JJB, I can't see Chelsea losing at the Bridge...

Agreed Smile

Wigan have nothing to play for and Steve Bruce would HATE Chelsea to win the league ahead of Manchester United because of HIS influence. He STILL loves the club. Poor old John Terry thinking that Man Utd might drop points in this game.

The Chelsea players really are getting desperate. Ballack is at it now.

wrote:
Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack is hoping Wigan's stars do not go on holiday before their final game of the season against Manchester United. The Blues need The Red Devils to drop points at The JJB as they have a superior goal difference over Avram Grant's side in the race for Premier League glory.
Chelsea maintained the pressure on the league leaders with a 2-0 success over Newcastle on Monday, although they still need help if they are to regain the title. Wigan secured their top-flight status at the weekend with a 2-0 win at Aston Villa and Ballack is hoping they do not start thinking about a summer of sand and sea until the conclusion of the campaign.

Pressure

"The pressure is on and I hope Wigan are proud enough to give everything in the last game," Ballack said.
"I remember when we played them at home they put four strikers on in the last four minutes to try something and I hope they do the same against Manchester United. "I hope they are not on their holidays. They have secured their place in the league but they have enough time to celebrate before preparing for this game.

The pressure is on...is it? It certainly isn't on Wigan.

I really hope Chelsea snatch the double this season but it seems highly unlikely and Wigan are a really really weak team; United are far better and will definitely win against them.

Let's all hope that a miracle happens though.

If Hesky plays he could make it interesting ,but i can't see Man U loosing it now.If they do it will be the biggest choke job known to man.Add steve Bruce into the equation and it should be a done deal.
Chelsea will win their game but it won't be enough.United could feel some pressure though as they need a win and not even a draw.I'm hoping for Chelsea to win it,that would be incredible.

It really amuses me when I read such bitter and jealous comments about Manchester United from none Chelsea supporters. You all need to learn how to lose with grace and dignity.

well using the BBC predicter thing if Man Utd beat Wigan 1-0 it will mean Chelsea would have to beat Bolton 18-0 to nick the title from Man Utd .... Laughing I dont think Anelka , Drogba , Ballack and Co have that amount of goals in them for one game ... Wink

I would love Man Utd to draw and Chelsea to win ....it looks like the way Chelsea play though is gonna cost them the title .. ie ...lack of goals ..

According to evolutionary psychologists, hate is a reaction to people whose interests consistently conflict with one's own. People whose behavior threatens one's own survival interests are to be hated, while people whose behavior enhances one's survival prospects are to be liked or even loved (as in the case of offspring and other genetic kin).
