Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen believes the capture of David van Zanten is the first of a number of summer signings.
While there could be significant change of personnel at Easter road as Paatelainen prepares for his first close-season in charge, the new manager maintains he is merely trying to bolster the squad.
"I don't know many will arrive but I believe three or four are needed," he said.
"I know people will say another player's days are numbered, but I'm just trying to strengthen."
