Lawrence resigns

Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence has stepped down as manager of the club. Rumours have been flying around for a while now and he ahs finally decided to step down. Lawrence will now be a consultant at Ninian Park, favourite to be his replacement is Dave Jones who Millwall are also chasing.

I have been following this story all day, and it does appear as though Dave Jones will join Cardiff. I think he would be a crackin' manager, however would have his work cut out for him.

Lawrence has done a good job though, and has been extremely loyal. Credit where it is due, he did a decent job.

i think he has done a great job, ok done some bad signings but to keep us up was a great acheivement. And I hope a lucky club with money take him on.
