Wasn't to sure where to put this but there was a bit about the FA in here so was just wondering if there are any qualified ref's on here? I am and I just got back from my game. It wasn't bad bit boring but no easy one to ref. What do you enjoy about refereeing and what do you hate?

I´m a referee, too. I´m doing that job for about 2 years now and I like it. Others always say: "Oh my, I couldn´t hear the complainings of the players and viewers, blah blah blah" I´m always amused, if they´re coming to me complaining about a decision.

I became referee in March 2005. I really can't complain about doing this but unfortunatly some annoying players will never disappear.

There are some players and teams I dread refereeing.

On about £1000 a game probably more! Whereas i'm on £15 a game with no assistants and no crowd controllers and I have to do all the jobs at once. I'm 16 years old and have to cope with grown men.

£15 Shocked

Here in Germany you only get 8€, which is about £5.50.

But it's worth that. It's a really great job, beeing referee. Although there are some exceptions most of the children and the coaches treat me with respect.

I've found the toughest games to referee are women's games; those girls are vicious!

I'm guessing either from the FA, or from your local football association.
