I'm not gonna be here for a while now, may not even return. I'm having computer troubles atm which is making it impossible to browse the forum efficiently. I've got exams coming up in a week or two, and quite frankly I'm getting fed up with some people on here as well.

I'll keep that in mind. I might actually make my rounds to all the major football grounds in London (yes even the dreaded WHL and Stamford Bridge).

Anyone know if Highbury still has any resemblance that football used to be played there? Mainly an area/gate that has the Highbury crest ...

Re..Papasmurf..I may be wrong but I think the old main stand at Highbury may
still be there as it is a listed building meaning nobody is allowed to knock it down by law.

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will post here and don't forget to visit Upton Park!

if you are looking at MAJOR football grounds then it would be a crime to miss out on The Academy of Football aka Upton Park. Home of some of England's finest players. you could even stay the night in the hotel situated within the stand and wake up in the morning overlooking the pitch

The East Stand of Highbury is still there because it is a listed building... ie it cant be touched.

^ Actually Upton Park is near the top of the football grounds I want to visit (behind Emirates and Highbury of course). I love how they made it look like a castle with the two towers overlooking the ... what I assume is the main gate.

And good to know that I can still see a part of the historic Highbury.
