Spurs buying the Premier League's Second Division off of Everton i see. Shameful.

On another note, where do Spurs get all their money from?

None of our money comes from a rich owner or capital injection, all transfers and wages comes out of cashflow. That is the reason other premier league clubs look to us as the perfect business model for a football club.

Ben91 i dont want to post it in here but i recently read a really good post by someone on another forum about Spurs finances that you might be interested in. And all Spurs fans should read too, especially Becks as it seems she has no idea.

Ive posted it in the Spurs section you can find it here.

Cheers, i'll take a look.

Also have been told that Berbatov is definitely going to Spain, either Madrid or Barcelona.

Sad

Will have to give him a good send off on Sunday then. Hopefully he can bag a goal in his last appearance.

Crying or Very sad

I hope the fans do give him a good send off, would be such a shame if some gave him abuse for it.

So do I - I like to think if he is off abroad, then no one will begrudge him.

Tottenham defender Michael Dawson insists he wants to stay at White Hart Lane and help the club aim for the UEFA Champions League next season.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to Newcastle in the summer but wants to fight for his place in the plans of head coach Juande Ramos.

Dawson says the rumours over a possible move away from North London are just speculation and that he is happy with life at Spurs.

"We have got depth in the centre-back position and hopefully the manager thinks like that as well," Dawson said.

"Fingers crossed it will be the same next year. It is competition and we want to push on.

"It is speculation about my future. I am happy here and I don't know where that has come from."

Dawson missed the Carling Cup final win over Chelsea through injury but believes the club can use their Wembley glory as a platform for success.

Next season he feels they could challenge for a place in the top four.

Target
"We have definitely got the quality. You look around the dressing room and I'm sure the manager has got aims and what he wants to do. Every player is striving for the same," added Dawson.

"We have got a good squad here and of course we want to build and climb up that table. Our goal is to be chasing them and to be up near the top."

Fingers crossed it will be the same next year? Blimey, what an idiot. Tottenham do have quite a lot of centre backs, but so many of them have been so poor this season (Dawson being one of them) that it's been one of Tottenham weakest areas this season, and as a result Ramos has often played midfielders there.

Interesting interview Yobbo, ive been calling for Dawsons head and to keep Kaboul but after Kabouls recent outbursts I believe he is a gonner as far as Spurs go so we should keep Daws in the squad.

He has had a bad season but noone can fault his effort and commitment, always gives 100% and never ducks out of a challenge.

I wouldnt scoff at having King, Woodgate, one other, and Dawson as our CBs next season. Dawson is a better 4th choice CB than many have in this league.

I agree completely - kaboul shot himself in the foot, whilst Daws had a pretty diasterous season you can't fault him for effort. The season before he played well and was linked to an England call up, so maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt and hope last year was a 'blip' (albeit quite a massive one!)

I know this isn't a transfer rumour, but Kevin prince Boateng was at the same nightclub as me the other night, sinking vodka red bulls. Who goes to a club wearing a nu era hat? lol

Apparently,

Spurs are considering making a £6 million bid for Birmingham City attacking midfielder Olivier Kapo.

Kapo said: “I signed for three years for Birmingham and I want to stay here. I like it here. My family like Birmingham. For me, in my head, I am staying here.”

Tottenham have joined the race for £6m rated Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng. Also chasing the 32 year old are Celtic and Sunderland.

Boateng was due to move to White Hart Lane in January but the deal fell through when Didier Zokora refused a move the other way. Boateng admitted last week he will be leaving Boro. (The People)

and another one,

Alan Curbishley will be looking to invest in his squad but he will not want to splurge big money on players, he tried that last summer and due to injuries and poor form those signings failed. West Ham have now been linked with a clever player who has been in top form in the Championship this season. Tottenham are also believed to be considering a move for the talented youngster.

West Ham United are about to move for Wolves winger Michael Kightly.(The Mirror)

Tottenham are also interested in a move for Kightly (Daily Mail)

22 year old Kightly has had seen his career sky rocket in recent seasons. After being released by Southend he got stuck in at Grays and netted an incredible amount of goals from the midfield and the wing. He had a great season at Molinuex but now it appears he may be about to leave Wolves for a move back to London and into the Premier League. Do West Ham and Spurs fans like the look of Kightly?

George Boetang is not valued at £6m. Not a chance. Otherwise we wouldn't be interested

Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be eyeing up a summer swoop for Lille's Jean Makoun.

Spurs boss Juande Ramos has been an admirer of the midfielder since his time in charge of Sevilla and could be tempted into a move.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are desperate to find a replacement for the Milan-bound Mathieu Flamini and see the Cameroonian as the ideal candidate.

Arsenal are rumoured to have already made tentative enquires as to the player's availability and may return with a firm offer.

Makoun is not just drawing attention from North London though, with Juventus, Monaco and Marseille also said to be interested.

However, with Lille understandably keen to retain the services of the 24-year-old it would take an offer of around 14million euros (£11million) to tempt the Ligue 1 club into a sale.

Another Rumour

Its been reported quite alot this morning that we have won the race to sign young midfielder John Bostock from crystal palace, a huge fee for someone who has only played 5 times for a championship side its rumoured to be 5 million. A young attacking midfielder John Bostock who only turned 16 this janurary so he will be sitting his GCSE's sometime this month, and is already rumoured to be worth 5 million. Shocked

Could be a good move for us as he has had very good review, i think if we did sign him hed go straight back out on loan to a championship side. Unless he is really something special and would make a few substitute apperances but it doubt it.

Also reportedly Inter Milan have made an offer for Samuel Eto'o and the figure is way too much for us, apparently 32 million pounds, Etoo is a very good player not worth that amount of money in my opinion.

Yea we signed Ronaldinho last week, didnt you get the memo? Rolling Eyes

But now that you mention it, yes some of the rumours in this thread have turned into signings. Such as Hutton, Woodgate, Gilberto, and Gunther. As for this window its only 3 days old so give it some time Smile

Now back to it, anyone heard of this 'wonderkid' John Bostock at Crystal Palace? Apparently we are in talks to sign him, this is from itk rumours not media as far as i know.
