i would not sign Ben arfa.If you watched that kid play this season then you would understand that his jealousy for Benzema makes him very unprofessional and not in the spirit of team play which is the biggest part of Arsenals make up.He's not even that good ,he's decent but get's a lot of attention because he's on the same team as the best young player in the world today.I think zidan of hamburg, who never sees playing time on the german side but was questionably the best player for egypt in the acn,is more effective than Ben Arfa. If Hleb leaves then he first player i would go for is Mamadou Diarra of real Madrid.Real were never the same when Makelele left so it is no coincidence that once they put Diarra in that position they are champions again.IMo he is currently on of the best midfielders in the world, different from hleb but much needed for Arsenal now that flaimini is gone. |

You really do make me laugh. If you have watched everyone of Newcastles last 10 games, and i mean every minute and you dont think Owen should be in the team, you need help. He scored six in six games, better the oba If you could read you would see me ask if you want names. Look up the page and you will see You see it? Ok heres my 10 better strikers then Oba: van nistelrooy Henry santa cruz Villa Gudjohnsen berbatov (Spurs would never sell him to Arsenal, but hes so much better) klose defoe Eto'o Crouch (could have included others like torres and messi but that would be stupid) Ok, theres 10 off the top of my head. Im sure you will come back saying that these are not as good as Oba but i would take any of these on a swap deal. Im not gonna say that Oba is crap, and i have never ever said that. I have said that he has potential and loads of it. If anyone could get this out of him it would be Wenger. By the way i have said this in my last few posts but you seem to have the idea that im talking out my ass, which is a little unfair but thats your opinion. I dont care what you think of me and what i say. Im best placed to give a judgement on Oba and thats fact. Im happy that Oba has got some fans, he has been great for this club and i would be gutted to see him leave. I really dont know why you think im talking out my ass. edit: so how much is Oba worth? |

I would love to have Kompany over at Arsenal. I thought he was off the market though? I remember Wenger put in a bid for him awhile back before he chose to go to Hamburg instead of Arsenal. I love the way he plays, with power and pace. And he's pretty good going forward as well. |

You missed one of my posts when I mentioned Kranjcar. He's not as good as Hleb in the dibbling department (obviously), and doesn't keep possession as well. However, going forward and creating and scoring goals, Kranjcar is more than a competent replacement for Hleb. Kranjcar isn't afraid of putting a shot on goal like Hleb for some odd reason is. Also, as he's played for Portsmouth for a couple years now, he is already used to/accustomed to the physicality of the EPL and will not need any time to adjust/adapt. |

yes that was correct but i suppose where he was young he wanted the experience needed to become a better player and going hamburg was properly better for him as he was not ready for the premiership but now he has grown and improved it may be his time |

Rumor has it that Ben Arfa has already signed a contract with Arsenal after Arsenal have agreed a £15 million deal with Lyon. This actually goes to fuel the speculation that Lyon are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Samir Nasri.
And a couple quotes from Wenger concerning transfers. 'I know what I want and I am very confident,' he said. 'I hope to turn that around in the next two or three weeks. They (fans) should be re-assured by what they see.' 'It would be better to buy someone who has played in England because they are less risky, but it costs more money if they are from the Premier League,' Wenger said. 'Maybe I will try to do both.' This goes to strengthen the possibility of him signing Kranjcar and Johnson. As for the Adebayor issue about him asking £80k a week ... he's come out and stated that it's complete rubbish. |

Good buy, hes a good player who should fit in well with the rest of the team.
Wengers also had a blast at AC Milan today, anything that slates italian teams is worth a read

I think it's a bit much. I don't think i would splash that much on him. Seems a bit risky, especially from what i've seen of him.
I'd rather sign Kranjar. But i don't know how much money Arsene has to spend, so i don't really know what i'd do. |

Ummm, over 90% of the apartments have been sold. Emirates was built for £430m. The loan that Arsenal took was for only £260m. They then replaced that bank loan with bonds. £210m worth of 13.5 year bonds and £50m of 7.1 year bonds. Beyond the revenue that's going to be generated by the housing at Highbury Square; the remainder of the Lough Road site is also being used for new housing, as are the surplus areas around the stadium at Ashburton Grove which will also bring in revenue to pay off this debt. (the latter possibly being an issue with the housing bust, but definitely not Highbury Square as 90% of it has been sold) Arsenal are also receiving £100m from Emirates for naming rights (over the course of the deal). |

Not sure if anyones already posted it but rumours have it that Wenger is keen to bring in Kolo's brother Yaya from Barcelona for 15 million.

Rumor has it that Dunne of Manchester City might be on his way to Arsenal. He has spoken of his desire to leave the club should Eriksson be sacked this summer. And with Ericksson's sacking being likely, he should be on the move. Apparently he could be sold for as little as £1m (which I think is way low for Dunne, but that's what the rumors are saying).
There are also reports that Wenger is setting up a bid for Stuttgart striker Mario Gomez. |

£10m rated AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso could be a target for Arsenal, with the Italian international considering a move to the Premier League as a potential new challenge
and, Barcelona are planning a mammoth bid for Arsenal’s Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Catalan club may offer Samuel Eto’o, Deco, Eidur Gudjohnsen or former Gunner Thierry Henry in a part-exchange deal. |

Arsenal are chasing £15m rated Olympique Marseille attacking midfielder Samir Nasri who’s contract talks at hte French club have stalled (The Daily Star)
Samir Nasri is a hugely talented Frenchman, a 20 year old with an already impressive collection of matches under his belt. He plays the Arsene way, in much the same way as often mentioned fellow countrymen Ben Arfa and Benzema, and has been one of the main reasons that Marseille are back to being the force they once were. The French international has already seemingly made it clear he wants a move away and surely he will treat the Gunners with more respect than the last man they picked up from the South of France club! Do Arsenal fans rate Nasri? Or are there more than enough young talents in the squad? so do you want nasri or do you have other targets in mind? |
