Bad luck Reading, hopefully you'll bounce straight back up.
I thought Fulham would survive prior to kick off, the momentum was with them and Pompey no doubt rested a few players - but still great results for Birmingham and Reading, who I wrongly thought would both struggle today, but it wasn't enough. I think the Fulham lads deserve a drink tonight. |

go on fulham, great result chuffed they are staying up as they got some good players. Heroic goal from Murphy, could have sworn it was mcBride initially.

I was just saying Jimmy Bullard had been poor, so wasteful, and then he planted that free-kick right on Murphy's head. I cheered like it was a Liverpool goal though.
By the sounds of it they played the worst of the three on the day - because they weren't that good, creating few chances - but no-one can deny them survival after the way they've fought back over the last five weeks. I'm glad they did it. |

It's sad for Floody when i think Reading have beaten Lyon last summer, i didn't think they will be relegated at the end of the season.

He would be a great player for Newcastle, he definatly could play for a bigger team than fulham, easily!

No relegation for Jimmy this year
Shame a big club like Birmingham have gone done. The good bit is that Martin Taylor will not be playing in the premiership. That makes me so happy Reading eh? Second season syndrome. Ah well. See you next year Floody...hopefully....Or maybe not as you might give us a pasting. |

I was there. We won. We went down. Felt suicidal for a long while.
Too painful to go into more detail. |
