A surprisingly great race which is clearly not what I expected. Mclaren gambled with a 3-stopper(Which they had to do anyway due to Lewis' driving style). But for that gamble to payoff, Lewis has to drive without any mistakes and also on the limit of his car and ability and he did just that which was good even though the strategy didn't completely pay-off...
Good Solid driving from the Ferrari drivers. Due to the circumstances, the best Ferrari could've got was a 1-3(I thought Kimi could've got a second but he was a bit slow in his second stint when Lewis was very fast and overtook Massa. Had Massa kept Lewis behind him for sometime longer, Kimi would've been second). Ferrari got the max points they got and I'm happy for them as a fan. Also good drives by Heidfeld and Alonso. Piquet was disappointing. Fantastic driving from Heikki after his his tyre problems(Caused by Kimi clipping Heikki resulting in tyre problems for Heikki and a slightly damaged front wing for Kimi with which he drove the whole race instead of replacing it). His overtaking moves were very much smooth, consistent and especially clean(Even with DC, who has a dodgy history when being overtaken). Overall a great race and I'm happy being a Ferrari fan. |

Fantastic. So you've been a Ferrari fan from the start??? Also do you support Ferrari as a team(Meaning you support Ferrari no matter who drives it) or you support mainly the drivers who drives the Ferrari and thus support Ferrari??? |

4 horses with two outsiders, here in my opinion are the chances of them winning the championship:
Raikkonen-Looking strong currently and will be trying to defend his crown Massa-A little inconsistent, he needs to win on his best tracks and score solid points on his others Hamilton-Not seen great driving from him this season, needs to improve to race Raikkonen Kubica-Part of the surprise package this season, good in qualifying iif he can do the same in the race will be in with a shout Heidfeld-Solid driver very consistent but may need a few slip ups from other drivers Kovaleinen:Needs to stop playing the team game and race Hamilton |

FP1 and FP2 for the Monaco GP has ended today and it was a bit mixed IMO.
Mclaren seems to have a slight edge as always in Monaco, but Ferrari are much stronger than they usually are here. They are almost on par with Mclaren here. Their long stint pace is better than Mclaren's IMO but they are struggling a bit in warming their tyres quickly which hampers them in the Quali... So Mclarens should Qualify strongly IMO... Also rain is expected during the race and if it indeed rains, then it'll be a lottery and I fancy drivers like Alonso, Webber, etc. to finish stronger than they normally would... Should be interesting and exciting IMO... FP1 Timings:

I think its only a three horse race. I know Robert Kubica and the BMW have been good so far, but i just dont see them being able to pick up points on both the Ferrari and McLaren cars. We all know that McLaren are going to be strong this weekend and Ferrari look close to their pace. This means that Kubica is gonna fall further behind. Yes, it is early but before we can talk about Kubica being in the running he has to show he can beat both Ferrari and McLaren. The only way he is going to make up the points is by winning races. You can say the same about the rest of them but i just feel they have a greater chance.

The thing with Monaco is Quali position is the most important thing. So if Kubica does a low Fuel lap in Q3, he has a chance to qualify on pole or atleast disrupt one of the Mclarens or Ferraris and can hold them in the race until his pit stop. Also if there are any SC periods(Which i think will be for sure with no TC and possible rain) then he might be lucky there too to score some points. Thats why I said, if it rains, it'll be a lottery. Also low-fuel quali like what Alonso did in Spain would disrupt the top teams much more here than anyother circuit. So Mclaren and Ferrari are the cars to beat here, but you simply can't rule out the BMW's especially Kubica... |

He has a great chance of doing something if he does rain but i was mainly talking about his chances of winning the championship. I know i said he will finish behind both Mclaren and Ferrari and he he might prove me wrong but they also have the option of going on low fuel. We know that Massa loves to do that.

Oh, if you're talking about championships, then its clearly a 3-horse race. It might be soon a 2-horse race if Massa fails to keep up with Kimi seeing that Massa's favourite tracks are over with the exception of interlagos... Massa loves to do that... But if he makes a mistake, then it'll be completely ruin his chances in the race. Also IMO Ferrari will adopt the classic light/heavy strategy with fueling one driver light and one driver heavy(both comparatively and not literally) so that atleast one of the drivers have a realistic chance of winning the race by allowing the light fueled driver to take the race lead at the first corner, thus effectively controlling the race and holding the faster Mclarens behind. After the first stops, the heavy fueled Ferrari might come in front and the win is in their hands with the second Ferrari coming either behind the two Mclarens or splitting it... But Ferrari will do it, if they think even before quali that Mclaren are faster than them... But If Ferrari think they are atleast on par with the Maccas, then they'll approach the quali usually with the fastest driver in Q2 gets to choose the optimal strategy... I hope for the second tough... |

Fantastic Quali session at Monaco. Ferrari were faster when it matters and they've locked out the front row of the grid ahead of the Mclarens!!!
I'm so so happy with Massa and Kimi... They are doing an excellent job and are the team to beat at any track no matter what... Well done Ferrari... FORZA FERRARI!!! FORZA FELIPE!!! FORZA KIMI!!! I think he more of a big headed backstabber after what happened last season but also an excellent pilot. In the meantime he is seems to have more problems with the car now that he got rid of Alonso. |

I've watched this Grand Prix and i don't regret. In Monaco you see who are the best drivers. It's sad for Sutil, he deserved to be well placed.
