Worst trouble maker: Eboue

Class room joker: Adebayor

Most improved student: Theo Walcott

Worst attendance record: Robin Van Persie

Summary: Overall, way above the expectations of many. Unstoppable in the first half of the campaign. Injuries and fatigue started to mount at the most critical time of the campaign while fighting in 4 competitions. The horrific injury to Eduardo and the ending result of that match was the turning point and threw us off course. We weren't able to regain our composure and our form till it was too late. In the end, the boys still played their hearts out even when there was nothing left to play for. We finished the campaign off strong with 4 straight victories while utilizing a lot of our bench and Carling Cup squad players. We ended the campaign with 15 more points than we had last year (with 5 more wins, and 5 less losses). United have 2 points less from last year, Chelsea have 2 points more, Liverpool with 8 more. So we are on the right track.

School - St.Wengers College of Excellence

Head Boy - Cesc Fàbregas: The heartbeat of the team.

Worst trouble maker - Emmanuel Eboué: A prat with a bad attitude who seems to enjoy causing problems.

Class room joker - Emmanuel Adebayor: Full of character and confidence. From dancing to headbutting.

Most improved student - Mathieu Flamini: A pity he's gone and left us. He changed from a utility player to a key member of the First XI and our best performer.

Worst attendance record - Robin van Persie: Becoming a regular for this award unfortunately.

Summary - Some bad luck at the wrong times in certain games cost us. The unfortunate injuries to key players in certain positions at the wrong times also cut us deep. Other than that I was impressed with the season. A matter of only a few points and we could have won the League - we sat top for long and challenged for a long enough period to have this season considered an improvement from last season. A few twitches here & there are needed, plus a replacement or two and I'm happy to say that I think we'll only get better next season and build a better points tally in the League.

School: Newcastle United

Head Boy: Habib Beye - In his first season he has become the fans favourite. Not many people know just how good he is.

Worst trouble maker: Nicky Butt - He got the most yellow cards in our team with 13. He was our 2nd best player though!

Class room joker: Geremi - its a joke how he gets a game

Most improved student: Jose Enrique - At the start of the season he was unfit and was not good enough. Since Keegan has came he is now getting to the standard we expected when he bought him.

Worst attendance record: Emre - I think he got lost. Rolling Eyes

Summary: The season was a failure. Whats new, the last few years have been the same. We dont expect to be winning the league but it is not asking too much for a club this size to finish in a respectable position. The best part of the season was to see Keegan back. He got off to a slow start but started to turn things around near the end. Time will tell whether he can work his magic again but i hope he gets the backing he needs from the owners.

School....Man Utd

Head Boy......Cristiano Ronaldo

Worst trouble maker....You don't need to foul much when you can play football but probably Scholes because even at over a decade into his career he still can't tackle.

Class room joker.....Nani, great actor.

Most improved student...Park Ji Sung

Worst attendance record...Louis Saha, who else?

you forgot to type 'professionally' Laughing

School....Red Devils

Head Boy....Rio
i'm kind of doubtful to choose between rio and ronaldo.. but since i've been very impressed with our defence this season.. i'll probably give rio and the defence gang a more extra point than the goalscorers.. Very Happy

Worst trouble maker....Rooney
i wouldn't say he's the worst one.. but there're plenty of times i noticed his temper when he's frustrated in several matches.. and some of the yellows he received might explain it as well.. such a waste to let his name booked by the ref for no biggy.. phew.. Sad

Class room joker....Nani
he's going to be a good winger in the future.. hope he'd never repeat the same red-card incident.. Sad

Most improved student....Ji Sung
he's been really improving since his return from the injury.. and also a type of hard-working player who tries to keep the ball.. Very Happy

Worst attendance record....Saha
because he's been easily injured during this season.. too bad.. Sad

Summary....
it's been a tense season where we needed to play till the last match to officially earn the title as well as the cup.. not to mention the slow start in the beginning and dropped points.. but every little struggle's paid off
in the end.. Very Happy

There was never any danger of West Ham being relegated after our miracle escape from the drop zone
in 2007 and there has been clear signs of progress this year despite the horrendous injuries we've had
hence my use of the words "a satisfactory year"..I never once thought we would be relegated in 2008.

School: Man United

Head Boy: Vidic: The Heartbeat of the team.

Worst trouble maker: Though one. I'd say it's between Scholes,Rooney & Ferdinand. Not really troublemakers but all loose the head sometimes when things arent going right for them.

Class room joker: Evra: He's a funny guy. Laughing

Most improved student: Probally Wes Brown, still not a big fan of him tho.

Worst attendance record: Neville & Saha.

School: FC Bayern Munich

Head Boy: Oliver Kahn. He's the captain and pushes the team like no one else. Didn't lose his ambition, even in the last season of his career.

Worst trouble maker: Willy Sagnol. Showing horrible performances, blaming others for it and constantly talking about a transfer to another club. He'll stay at Bayern next season and I hope he takes his chance.
(2nd choice would be Schweinsteiger because he's been the worst player this season)

Class room joker: Franck Ribery.

Most improved student: Unquestionably Martin Demichelis. He was alright as a defensive midfielder but he's world class as a centre back. Bayern's best defender and easily one of the best defenders in the world.

Worst attendance record: Jan Schlaudraff, striker. Joined Bayern this season, will move to Hannover next season. He never really got a chance, quite a pity.

Summary: This season was more of a transition season. The team was partly rebuilt after failing to qualify for the CL last season. Still, I'm quite disappointed for how the team developed. There is no real team play, they play too slow, the set pieces don't work and there's pretty much no play through the middle. In my opinion, it's the the coach's fault and I'm really looking forward to Klinsmann. He has really helped the national team and I'm totally convinced of his methods. I think he's got what it takes to make Bayern one of the strongest teams in the world again within the next years.
They definitely have the potential. They've got a world class player and a rising star for every position.
Strikers - Luca Toni (Klose when on form) and Lukas Podolski (he really improved in the last weeks).
Midfielders - Franck Ribery (Ze Roberto, Van Bommel) and Toni Kroos (Golden Ball at the last u-17 world cup). Gattuso will probably join them next season.
Defenders - Martin Demichelis (Lahm, Lucio) and Breno (18-year-old, €12 million man from Brazil).
All in all, I'm looking forward to the next season and the Champions League again.

School: Tottenham Hotspur

Head boy: Robbie Keane.

Worst trouble maker: Pascal Chimbonda.

Class room joker: Darren Bent.

Most improved student: Steed Malbranque.

Worst attendance record: Ledley King.

Summary: A decent year overall when taking the League Cup success into consideration. We are in a far stronger position with Juande Ramos at the helm than we were with Martin Jol. Hopefully we can push on with our league form and mount another sustained challenge for 4th place.
