Kanu best time in his career.

He wants a new contract. He should get one.

And Harry Redknapp first trophy ever

Well done Harry

Glad Pompey won and well done to them, but what a disappointing final.

I think the same every time i watch Portsmouth though.

In the end Pompey deserved to win, everything throughout the game was pretty even apart from the fact that David James didnt make a mistake like Enckleman.

Twmcat - just out of interest, would you mind mind if people constantly referred to your National Anthem as dirge?

precisely.

he is just a bitter taffy, angry and jealous at the fact he resides within an inferior country to England. its quite sad really.

oh and the team are called Cardiff not Caerdydd. the rules state we must post in english so please keep your random jumble of letters, useless inbred language off the forum.

OK Steely - I've just seen this.

The English National anthem sounds like a dirge to me - that is not just my opinion, but the opinion of many English people too.

I'm not bitter or angry or jealous.

I'm getting fed up with your English nationalism and saying anyone lives in a country if they don't live in England is living in an inferior country is just unpleasant.

Caerdydd is the capital of Wales, not Cardiff, as you English people prefer to call it, but I accept that you prefer to use English names for towns / cities - eg Seville for Sevilla, Rome for Roma etc, and I assume most non-English members accept that sort of thing.

But - telling me to "keep your random jumble of letters, useless inbred language off the forum" is totally unacceptable.

You have had an offical warning - you are now banned,.

Remarkable.

I am sick to the teeth of your constant anti-English drivel, but lo and behold no one bats an eyelid.
As soon as someone comes back at you, oh look they're banned.

I always used to be up for our neighbours 'whatever the weather' in all competition or friendly, until I started coming onto this forum and having to listen to your incitement and continuous anti-English bias, whilst bizarrely enough supporting 2 English teams.
Now, because of you and people like you, I think sod you.
You hate the English, fine, but you paint all English with the same brush, so I may as well live up to your warped vision and satisfy your craving.

You make out you are accepting of all nationalities and creed, but quite frankly you are worse of the worst. Why? Because you don't even see your own blatant ignorant hypocritical and often illogical racism.

I've not said anything until now, and if the powers that be deem this out of order then fair enough, I will take whatever comes and so be it.

As for the Final I am happy for Pompey, and delighted for Harry Redknapp - I got a shiver down the spine when he picked up the trophy and got the loudest cheer.
Cardiff represented themselves really well, and certainly more than pushed the Premiership outfit - it wasn't the greatest game, but Finals tend more than often not to be low key and the 90 mins was certainly no worse than any of the finals between the big boys.

My only criticism would be the 'corporate square' within the stadium - it empties out for the prawn sandwich brigade to get their half time drinks 5 minutes before the whistle, and seems to be three quarters full throughout - whilst the rest of the stadium was awash with blue, white, black and yellow.

But good show Cardiff, and congratulations Portsmouth.

Sending you texts whilst on holiday? I am not surprised you were fed up.

Whoever that was should grow up, quite frankly.

This place is getting more and more like a school playground. Unfortunately.

Haaaaaaaaaa! I just read all that stuff that has lead to Steely being banned. Funny stuff.

Grow up twmcat... and yes that has just come from one of the forums most immature members Wink

May I suggest you take this forum a little less serious than the real world. And yes they are seperate.

All British are loyal to their countries and love to take the p!ss out of each other... who cares?

oh well..would have been lovely for Cardiff to win, but nevermind! thought it was a pretty even game, Cardiff just couldnt finish off any of their decent moves. Jimmy floyd was quite crap i thought...

Still, they did really well just getting to the final and of all the teams who could have won, i'm quite pleased it was Pompey Cool

Not as painful as seeing you escaping another religation by the skin of your teeth. But then there is always next season for you to go down while Pompey (Hampshires Premier Team) take Europe by storm.

Yeah they will. You wouldnt put a large amount on them to win it, but always stand a chance of doing it with that team.

I agree with Sparky on the matter concerning Steely, although i didnt like it when Steely made the remarks about Cardiff and about Welsh people in general, i think some people on here make similar remarks towards our English members that Steely was making about us Welsh. I also honestly think Steely doesnt mean most of the stuff he says, or does he i dont know. I dotn think he should of been banned although he has said some wrong thing is a valued member of the forum.

Anyhoo back on topic, Congratulations to Pompey, well except for Sol. I also feel quite bad for Jermaine Defoe both teams he has played for this season win a trophy and he doesnt get either. Ah Well.

So lets get things straight is Steely actually been banned or was he just being warned? Also i dont think he was really causing any harm, come on he was saying stuff about Welsh people but we all know that us Welshies say the same sort of stuff towards the English just most of us dont do it in a place where we can be banned. Laughing All harmless fun in my opinion

Just watched the highlights and seemed pretty straightforward for Pompey.

Cardiff goal ruled out was spot on.

Nice little backheel from Niko, and he speaks very good English. English is easier than Croat!!!
