Eto'o heading for Juve?
Eto'o For Trezeguet Could Kickstart Barça Deals Samuel Eto'o could be the surprise departure from Barcelona this summer with a swap deal now being mooted with Juventus that would see David Trezeguet heading in the opposite direction. The latest twist to the Cameroonian striker's future comes a day after it was revealed that he was so infuriated by being jeered by fans at the weekend that he wants to leave Camp Nou. Tottenham are said to be involved in preliminary talks with Barça and his agent while Inter are monitoring the situation, so Juve's involvement is a new element to saga. While various high profile names, such as Ronaldinho and Deco, were always on the way out at the end of the season, it was believed that Eto'o would stay at least another season. Pep Guardiola takes the reins from Frank Rijkaard later in the summer and he is already working on a provisional list of playes that he wants to keep. A number of names have already been discussed but there could be the odd surprise like Santiago Ezquerro being asked to stay because the new trainer is a fan. Having barely featured for the Blaugrana since his move from Athletic Bilbao in 2005, Guardiola views the forward as a very useful player to use as a substitute. Other names that will go for sure are Eidur Gudjohnsen, despite his desire to stay, and Giovani Dos Santos, who could be sent out on loan after requesting a move to gain more first team experience. Lilian Thuram has been looking for a new club for several weeks after being told that his contract would not be renewed and Edmílson is set to leave with Villarreal his likely destination.[/img] |

I dunno about Eto'o as he's a heavy favourite for Spurs, but it can happen. Who knows. As for Thuram, I saw this article where he says, he won't be at Barca but he's also thinking of retiring too...

Many clubs want him, few dare to ask. But he's 36 years old now so he should retire soon.

Guess Lahm won't be playing for Juve next season as he reportedly signed a 3-year extension with the Bavarians after Klinsmann convinced him to stay.

Zebina is [beep!], i always remember a game i saw Juve play against Cagliari a few seasons back where midget Gianfranco Zola outjumpped the 6' 1/2" Jonathon Zebina to score a header, it was classic

I'm saying that Zebina is good, if anything he's average, but Palladino for an unknown player is just :/.

Juve Offer Iaquinta For Aquilani
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are hoping to beat Arsenal to the signing of Alberto Aquilani by offering Vincenzo Iaquinta as part of an exchange deal. quilani’s future at Roma is in doubt as he has still yet to sign a proposed new contract, and there are mumblings that the club are unable to meet his demands. A host of top European clubs would jump at the chance to sign the promising 23-year-old midfielder, and yesterday his agent revealed that Arsenal were in talks to snap him up. “Aquilani is speaking to Arsenal,” declared Vincenzo Morabito. “We will have to see if Roma will be able to match his demands. I hope he goes to Arsenal over Juventus, the more quality players in the premier league the better and this guy has huge potential to star along side Fabregas in midfield.

I doubt he's going abroad because he's an Italian. Not many Italians in the big four teams would actually leave to the EPL so it's either Roma or Juve I guess. Anyways on other news Ranieri wants to bring Bridge from Stamford Bridge to Juve: According to the latest transfer speculation, former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri is eager to give Wayne Bridge a new lease on life at Juventus. The English left-back has become an increasingly marginalised figure at Stamford Bridger since Avram Grant took over from Jose Mourinho and is not even expected to make the bench for tomorrow's Champions League Final against Manchester United Juventus are said to readying a £6 million offer for the 27-year-old, who also counts Liverpool, West Ham and Tottenham on his list of admirers. Let's see what happens, but I reckon that he's staying in Italy for the obvious reasons. Arsenal isn't exactly attracting anymore considering how their stars are leaving and how they haven't won any cup in a long time. |

Well if he goes, I'll not be bothered... He's too error prone for me. I really want us to sign a good enough CB this window. Hope Wenger will do that... |

Senderos was excellent for Arsenal I reckon, he just played bad a couple of games and he's still young (23). For the low price we are offering for him it's a win-win situation for us as he is not too far from being a great defender. |
