Clichy's the best left-back in the world Sticky.

Wenger said so.

Bayern Manager Uli Hoeneß has now told the German magazine "kicker" that Manchester United might be Lahm's new club. However, Hoeneß believes that he won't leave after this season.

Hopefully it will be Barcelona, to firstly not strengthen United and secondly because i want us to sign Abidal.

Still that Barça sign Lahm won't sell Abidal.

If he plays left-back, as he usually does, Abidal will leave.

He can play in the right back and will be Zambrotta who will leave to go to Milan.

Abidal doesn't even like it at Barca. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave.

I really hope Lahm doesn't sing for Man Utd. That would be a real blow for us in our quest to catch them.

The last thing we need is for Dr. Phil to join United/Barca and up their psychology, although he's joining Juve Wink

The race is over.
Lahm has extended his contract until 2012 after talks with the future coach Jürgen Klinsmann.
Quite surprising if you ask me but I'm happy.

I am happy too. It's good to see Bayern keep their better players, and for German stars to remain in Germany. Would've hated to see him at United also.

I'd love Phillip Lahm at Liverpool, first time i was him was the 2006 World Cup and i think he scored a cracker in Germanys first game.
We've had two decent Germans before with Dietmar Hamann and Markus Babbel so i don't see why this lad would be any different to them in terms of success and medals if he did come to Anfield.

Well it's a bit late, he's signed a new contract with Bayern. Wink

We never really stood a chance with him.

We'll be bringing attacking full-backs in this summer... just not Lahm himself.

I have a funny feeling that Philip Lahm will be a Liverpool player next season. Thats if rafa gets the money he deserves to spend.
