Why is La Liga falling behind? |
It's not as exciting as EPL & Serie A and it is mainly dominated by RMA now. In Europe Real Madrid have a new habit of going out early and Barca need to rebuild their team. La Liga is falling behind, especially after Ronaldinho got out of form.

Not as exciting as Serie A? You say that is mainly dominated by Real Madrid and Serie A is the same, mainly dominated by Inter and Inter going out early in Europe. Then is the same situation.

The title race was by far more exciting in Serie A as Roma could very well have clinched the title, the difference of 2 points isn't exactly dominated

And if you see how finished last season La Liga, Real Madrid and Barça finished with the same number of points, then closer.

Del boy talking poo here mate. Come on mate give it up.

How is it dominated by Real?
They scraped it last year and won this year. That's hardly dominating. Lyon in France is domination, this is a good run. La Liga is also more exciting than Serie A and has a higher standard of overall player than any other league. |

Guess it must be me then, but they're falling behind terribly in my opinion, and don't look like winning a CL trophy any time soon.

Oh boy, you gotta be kidding. If you tell me that the EPL has been better this year (especially since they had 3 teams among the 4 semifinalists in the Champions League), I'll accept it. But no way Serie A has been better. At least in Spain people go to the stadium to support their club, in Italy the stadiums are empty.

That is why the TV ratings have become higher, we are high-tech in Italy

The TV was invented like 60 years ago |

How can you say that after 1 less than exciting season?!
Last season La Liga was by far the most exciting league. Twice, no, three times as exciting as the premiership. Sevilla, Barca and Real Madrid all could win it on the last day. And the finish featured many high scoring games, which at times went completely against the script. |
Sevilla couldn't win on the last day, after 38 games they were 5 points behind Madrid & Barca. |
Oh yeah, but until the penultimate game they were very close. They should've won the league though, they were the best team that season but the UEFA cup was a hindrance. Either way, it was still a much closer title race than any premiership season has ever seen.
Last season was exactly as exciting as La Liga? Chelsea & United were level and Chelsea let go after United won. |

its always the same few teams in England though, every single season in La Liga you get smaller teams that overachieve and challenge for the title. 4 different teams have won La Liga since 2000.
Deportivo, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Villerreal, Osasuna, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo etc etc have all finished in the top 4 in that time. Compare that to England where its the exact same top four every season, occasionally you might get someone like Everton challenging but it always ends up the same teams |
That's just two teams, La Liga had an extra team in the mix. |
Arsenal were the champions until the last couple of matches, 3 against 3 |
Don't be an idiot. Arsenal gave the league away over half a dozen games before the end of the season.
They were 6 points behind the teams in the end and had they not lost to United & Chelsea they'd be the trophy holders, it was down to 2 games
You don't know what you're saying Del Piero 10...
You start comparing La Liga with Serie A and then you finish talking about the Premier League, and making up things to prove you're right. |
