It was our own member J-Axe

Just type "I belong to Flamini" on google and it will show. It was rather runny, but this is funnier.

Nedved signs Juve contract extension

Veteran Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved has signed a one-year contract extension with Juventus, the club said on Tuesday.

The news is a welcome boost to Juventus who will play in the Champions League next season after ensuring they will end this Serie A campaign in third place.

Nedved's contract will now last until the end of June 2009.

'This contract extension is the best way to reinforce the squad ahead of next season,' said Juve administrator Jean-Claude Blanc.

'Pavel has been an integral part of Juventus's story and will continue to add character and quality to the team.'

The Czech is 35 years old and joined Juve in 2001. He has played 282 matches and scored 58 goals.

I think it's a wise move on Nedved. From what I saw this season he has been playing well and didn't really show signs of age affecting him.

The question though will he be as effective as has been so far?

Fiorentina have completed the signing of Italy forward Alberto Gilardino from AC Milan.

The 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Viola reportedly worth 1.65million euros a season.

An official statement on the Fiorentina website read: 'Fiorentina can reveal that they have definitively required the sporting rights of the attacker Alberto Gilardino from AC Milan.

'Alberto Gilardino will be officially presented to the press tomorrow at 12.30 (CET) at a press conference at the Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence.'

The move brings to an end a three-year spell in Milan for Gilardino.

This season Fiorentina beat the Rossoneri to the fourth and final Champions League spot in Serie A.

Fiorentina have pulled off a transfer coup after winning the battle for Montenegrin starlet Stevan Jovetic.

The teenage forward has been interesting Real Madrid and Manchester United, with previous reports claiming the Premier League champions were willing to spend £7million on Jovetic.

However, Fiorentina have confirmed that the 18-year-old has accepted a move to the club from Partizan Belgrade, with the fee rumoured to be in the region of 8million euros (£6.3m).

Jovetic is already a full international with Montenegro and is the captain of the country's Under 21 side.

Viola coach Cesare Prandelli has been lining up a deal for the highly-rated attacker for several weeks and has now clinched his signature.

The swoop for Jovetic follows on from the capture of Alberto Gilardino, who joined the UEFA Champions League qualifiers from Milan earlier in the week.

Looks like a good signing for Fiorentina

Italy striker Antonio Cassano has moved from Real Madrid to Sampdoria on a permanent basis after a successful loan deal with the Serie A club, the Primera Liga side said on Friday.

Real did not disclose any further details, but Spanish media said the temperamental 25-year-old had been given a free transfer.

Cassano joined Real on a 4-1/2-year deal from AS Roma for 5.5 million euros in January 2006, but never settled at the Bernabeu and had several run-ins with then coach Fabio Capello during the following season.

He made it clear he did not want to remain at Real and went on loan to Sampdoria in August last year.

He had a superb campaign with the Serie A club but also hit the headlines for being given a five-match ban for verbally abusing a referee and throwing his shirt at him.

Eyebrows were raised last week when Roberto Donadoni named him in the Italy squad for Euro 2008, having not been called up since 2006.

Is good he has signed for sampdoria as its important for him to keep playing first team football. Has paid off and now in italy squad for the euros campaign

Never say never, but either way we can wait for him to improve even more and be worthy of wearing the Bianconera shirt Smile

Italy reserve keeper Marco Amelia broke off from his Euro 2008 preparations to sign for Serie A side Palermo on Thursday.

Amelia has left relegated Livorno and agreed a four-year contract, the Sicilians said on their website.

The world champions have a number of players in their Euro squad who are in the process of moving clubs.

Genoa striker Marco Borriello is returning to co-owners AC Milan, with the deal due to be made official after the end of the tournament in Austria and Switzerland.

Media reports have said Palermo defender Andrea Barzagli has agreed a transfer to Germany's VfL Wolfsburg.

Full back Gianluca Zambrotta clinched a move from Barcelona to Milan days before the Italy squad flew out to their base south of Vienna.

Coach Roberto Donadoni said recently he wanted transfer talk to be kept to a minimum as his side prepare for their first Group C match against Netherlands in Berne on Monday

Is he a good goal keeper?

In Serie A he's probably the best keeper after Buffon, Julio Cesar and Frey
