Wrong. Others would have picked up the slack trust me, Man U have a deep team with a lot of proven scorers. The money i have heard that surrounds this kid though is sick 150 mil 250,000 a week tax free for a player that seldom contributes in big games,i ask you.The world is in turmoil my friends, people are blinded by the powers of sensationalism. My fear is hat they sign Benzema which i have heard recently ,i would be absolutely gutted if they get that boy,but i have a feeling that if he is up for grabs then Chelsea would outbid them. If Man U get Benzema they get a better player than ronaldo. |

What makes you think that? |

Manchester United have agreed a fee with Cardiff City for teenager Aaron Ramsey. Surely will be loaned out as he wont get games there and hes easily Championship quality already and people even say hes good enough for the oremiership already.

Yeh sorry i misread, i dont how the hell i got what i did from what you wrote. I read it and somehow i got the impression you were saying having him there would make Ronaldo look even better because Ramsey wasnt good enough. I dont know what i thought it said got the sale word mixed up with something which i cant even think which word would give me what it did. |

It is obvious that Villa can score the goals but he has certain qualities similar to Rooney and tevez. We need someone Rooney ,Ronaldo and Tevez can feed off when played. I think Benzema would fit the bill or even Huntleer or Fabiano but we'll just have to wait and see, but please not another small second striker lol |

Nah no need to worry although another RVN would be welcome, but Utd create so many chances it is not imperative to have an "out and out striker" in this particular team. Forget Ronaldo for the moment, at present Rooney, Tevez, Saha, can finish off enough chances for us even though they are not dubbed "out and out" strikers. However it is likely another striker wil come to OT this summer. Santa Cruz could do a job. |

When Saha is fit that is. Do you think Rooney can get 20 goals in the EPL? If you take Ronaldo out of your frontline it is very weak (for goals). Ronaldo scored 1/3 of your goals in the EPL. How would you have done without him and his goals? The reason i ask this is because you seem to think that you can rely on others. |

We beat Arsenal 4-0 without Ronaldo in the side...so the answer is YES...no problemo |

We aren't as strong without Ronaldo that's for sure, but other people do step up in his absence.

On the subject of strikers, Tevez is only on loan isn't he? Would United fans be happy to see £20m+ go out on a player who effectively plays the same position as Rooney?

weak? are you sure? Rooney scored 12 lge goals last season and but for injury IMHO I think he could have got 20 goals. He was going through a great spell when injury struck. Tevez helped out with 14 as well. You asked were Utd fans worried about where goals will come from. I for one am not worried at all. I think it's the other challengers that need to worry about goals going by last season. How many goals did Chelsea's top league scorer get last season? |

Tevez got 14 out of 34 games Rooney got 12 out of 27 games That is a combined total of 26 out of 61 Meanwhile Torres got 24 out of 33 games also Adebayor scored 24 out of 35 games I know you asked for Chelsea but i thought i would do Liverpool and Arsenal because i knew who their top scorers were. Ronaldo has a better record than all of these but we are talking about strikers here. |

Yes but this is not a worry for Utd which is what has been said all along. Torres and Adeybayor were the main strikers for their respective teams last season and their teams arguably were set up that way. Utd since RVN do not have a main striker. They can get goals from various sources and in Ronaldo Utd have a player with more all round ability he is not just a winger(thats not whinger). For the sake of argument take the top lge scorers out of the equation. Who do you think had the greater goal threat in the lge last season? |

|

Derby On a serious note it would have to be Man United, they scored the most goals (thanks to Newcastle). But if ronaldo goes, you will need to change your system and maybe buy a main striker like RVN. I'm not saying you are a one man team but this would be the case for any team if they lost their top scorer. |
