grow up G_Man. you are like a 13 year old on a period sometimes.

for what its worth G_Man is right. Newcastle's european away support is notoriously pathetic.

you only have to look at the comparisons in the palermo matches between Newcastle and West Ham fans. its laughable.

I agree with both points there Steely.

G_Man please leave the insults out.

Also, G_Man you are right, Newcastle have horrendous support in abroad from everything ive seen and heard. I read a headcount from the Palermo game from a Toon fan who was there and I think he got 68!

i did show a picture of the Newcastle fans at the stand and West Ham fans in the same stand at palermo before. it was very amusing to see the invisible 'passionate north east fans' in action!

cant be bothered to dig it back up though, aint got a clue where i posted it

I just looked it up and there was meant to be 170 fans. I am quite surprised, the two times i applied we had sold out pretty quickly. Oh well...

I can tell you're loving this steely Laughing

of course. anything that busts the myth of your 'passionate' support is fine by me. thats something that really bugs me because it is so untrue.

but this is what i mean though.

nobody bats an eyelid. its expected. we always fill away allocations up and are always filling up at home yet Newcastle, and indeed sunderland, are painted up as some kind of super fan when in reality its far from the truth. even when ive been up there its pretty quiet which considering the size of your ground is laughable.

here is us at the Metz away game for the Intertoto Cup..

there is always fantastic support all over the world. the Canadians will see that when loads of West Ham fans crash Toronto for our pre-season match vs MLS All Stars

I have never said anything bad about West Ham fans. They always fill the away end at St James Park and they are one of the best.

You don't have to tell me about our home support, its gone downhill. This is why they have changed the seating around for next season and it has improved quite a bit since your big friend keegan returned. However, our away support (in england) is great. Even in Europe, it isn't as bad as that one picture is making it out to be.

I new i was right i did not need anyone telling me any different. Couldnt get a ticket geordie? Lot of rubbish i think. again my opinion. And i will say how i dont like this geordie guy as he is being a pr1ck. And good effort trying to wind me up in pm me geordie. Like i said your away support is poor. Palermo and thats how many fans Newcastle take. Dundee a very small club compared to the wannabes scots and we get a larger fan base away. Smile

Log onto my account and see my PM if anyone wants to. I don't see how there was anything wrong with it Graham, all i asked was can't you come up with something better than calling me a pr1ck as you have done it 5 times now, starting to get a bit boring really. You need to stop being childish and just get on with posting on the forum.

And i didn't try to get tickets for this match. You can't just claim that this happens in all matchs. Its like a football match, just because one team wins it doesn't mean that they are the best, it just means they were better on the day. Look at what happened in the FA Cup this year. One game does not show the full picture.

Grow up Graham

Stop with your sh1tty comments "when i post" and licking some @ss here then.

Lost me with your last paragraph. Im on about the Newcastle away support in europe, nothing to do with actually how well they play. To be honest not to fussed how Newcastle play. I said Newcastle dont take a big support away in europe and i was right. Pretty simple. Guess you hate being wrong. If im wrong ill admit it. i wont just make something up like you have in this thread.

How can be lost in the last paragraph. I was making the point that just because we only sold 170 tickets for a match, that was in the group stage and we had already got through to the next round, it doesn't mean all our support in europe is the same. I was not talking about how Newcastle play football. So what would happen if i got a picture of an away game with the Newcastle end full? im sure you would still think that we don't sell out. It is just one picture. I know when i have applied for one or two games in the past, they have been sold out. I didn't say a thing about trying to get tickets for the game where we only sold 170 tickets.

Can you remember the games? Surely you would post straight away with which games you applied for and didnt get as was only 2 games?
