Robbie Keane is being linked with a move to Liverpool. Rumour is he's even told Ramos he wants to move. after hearing of our interest.

He is supposed to be a boy-hood Liverpool fan. Not that that's usually the biggest lure - but the opportunity of playing Champions League football is. That would be a major incentive.

Whether he'd be good for us, i don't know. I think he'd be a fantastic partner for Torres, but we don't use a partner. If he could play along the line of 3 behind him that would work perfectly.

He's a great player and would indeed be a fantastic signing for Liverpool. My only concern, if I was looking at it from Robbie's point of view, will Rafa ruin me as a player like he has done to Kuyt and Crouch. I can see Robbie being deployed in a simiar role to Kuyt.

Spurs will be idiots if they let him go ..even for £20 million .

Any deal would all come down to whether he wanted to leave for Liverpool. And also, if Ramos is keen on Crouch - as rumours have suggested - that may leave us with some common ground for a deal to be negotiated on. After that it would be how much cash on top would Liverpool be paying. The rumour is we've offered Crouch + £5m. I can see it having to be upped though.

Most players are ambitious. They'll want to achieve the best - Champions League football seen as the pinnacle of club football. Anyone with an ounce of drive would believe in their own ability as a player and of that to succeed.

I really think Spurs must be off their head for even considering this deal. Sure I like Crouch as a player but I would take Crouch for Keane without second thoughts, seeing as how Crouch would hardly get games if Torres is playing.

Without Berbatov almost certain of leaving I can't imagine what it must feel like for a Spurs fan to see Keane leaving!

He can't leave for Liverpool. And if we ended up with crouch we might as well forget about any decent finish next season....

The Keane to Liverpool for Crouch and 5 mill story stinks. It was broken by the Mail which reported that Keane attended a board meeting last Friday when in fact he was (and still is) on holiday.

I can definately see Berbetov still leaving but Keane loves it at the Lane and Im more than confident he's staying.

Southampton have completed the signing of Tottenham reserve goalkeeper Tommy Forecast for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract at St Mary's, and will provide competition for current shot stoppers Kelvin Davis and Bartosz Bialkowski.

Forecast is a product of the Tottenham academy but was restricted to six appearances on the bench last season.

He joins fellow new-boys Lee Holmes, Paul Wotton and Morgan Schneiderlin in arriving at Saints this close season.

Forecast told the club's official website: "Spurs didn't really want to let me go, but I'm pleased it's all sorted now. Once I found out that Southampton wanted me, my mind was made up.

"They are a huge club with a big fan base - a Premier League club really - and I can see myself developing here."

Never heard of him so not sure if this is a big loss or not

I guess Spurs aren't exciting.

I read recently in the NOTW that Spurs are planning to Rent Stadium:MK for 2 years if they decide to renovate WHL to a 50,000 seater stadium, if they don't do that, they will also tyr for a new stadium, though a renovation would be well cheaper, Spurs have also rueld out Temporary Switches to Wembley and Upton Park.

Don't think he's said anything really.

Oh, but Andriy Voronin sends his regards and goals to you.

Not really transfer news just an assumption. Tottenham have revealed that Aaron Lennon will be subject of the ASK feature in the Tottenham hotSpurs September issue of hotspur(magazine type thing)

http://www.Tottenhamhotspur.com/news/articles/askaaron090708.html

Im just thinking why would they do one with Aaron Lennon for September if he would be sold and not even be at the club when it comes out.

Losing Dimi and Keane would be a killer blow. SWould effectively end any CL ambitions for next season.
