New Cardiff City striker Robbie Fowler believes his fledgling partnership with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is showing signs of developing into a fruitful one.

Neither of the veteran frontmen have opened their accounts for the Bluebirds in two appearances, but Fowler believes it is only a matter of time before the goals begin to flow.

Blackpool manager Simon Grayson has completed the signing of Mansfield Town defender Alex John-Baptiste.

The 22-year-old has agreed a two-year deal with the Seasiders with the option for a further 12 months.
