A survey by Top up TV asked 1000 fans to pick the top misfits ever
so supporters have chosen the worst 11 players in premier league history.

.........................................Massimo Taib...........................................
.......................................(Man Utd)..................................................

Titus Bramble... Jean Alain Boumsong......Darren Peacock.........Abel Xavier
(Wigan)................(Newcastle)....................(QPR).....................(Everton)

Eric Djemba Djemba......Luke Chadwick.....Carlton Palmer
(Man Utd)................(Man Utd)..............(Sheff Wed)

Lee Dong Gook............Thomas Brolin.......... Diego Forlan
(Middbro)......................(Leeds).........................(Man Utd)

A rubbish team needs a rubbish manager so step forward Sammy Lee.

I remember Eric Djemba....He was so good he was named twice so we wouldn't forget him!

Do you agree that this would be the worst side ever to grace the premier league in its history?

Would they strike fear into your own teams players or would they just be considered a laughing stock?

Can you think of anybody else who should have been included that has been missed out by the survey

Forlan was and is a good player. Even at Man Utd he had his day.

I'd add Kleberson, Veron, Postiga, Tommasson.

Shola Ameobi should be in it. He is painful to watch.

It was sometimes funny to see Bramble, Boumsong and Ameobi in the same team. I am glad those days are behind us...

they are not bad enough to make the worst ever team. Think of all the teams defenders who have went down over the years.

A large number of the people must have been Man Utd fans, with four of them on the list.

I can think a few that are a lot worst than Djemba-Djemba, Chadwick, and Forlan.

I was thinking about some of the bad signings newcastle have made and take a look at these:

Luque £9.5million
Carl Cort £7million
Hugo Viana £8.5million
Cristian Bassedas £4.2 million
Titus Bramble £4.5million
Jean Alain Boumsong £8 million

= £41.7million

No wonder people take the piss out of us!

Rasiak - a shining star in the championship, an explosive disaster in the top tier.

Forlan is a top class player. He flopped at Man U, but there can be no doubting his ability. And he actually started to do quite well at the end of his Man U spell.

I'd switch him with Francis Jeffers.

And the manager would have to be Graham Souness - the architect of many a team's demise.

And coincidentally, the man he brought us the worst premiership player ever - George Weah's cousin... Ali Dia!

Oh oh, let's not forget Ade Akinbiyi! He's gotta be one of the worst strikers.

Sammy Lee was very bad but even he wasn't as bad as Les Reed, the bald headed clown who took over the Charlton reins from Iain Dowie.

Any manager who can utter the infamous line "Ferenc Puskas was the original Andy Reid" gets absolutely no respect from me!

Lol it doesnt take long for Newcastle to start getting slated does it.

JJ, i don't like your dislike for Shola Evil or Very Mad. there's plenty of strikers who have been far less successful infront of goal than him, don't you think?

I was going to mention him, but i didn't bother, because i digressed with my additional comments on Souness.

He was very bad, be at least he hasn't had a lasting detrimental effect on a succession of teams - unlike Souness.
