Was this game at the JJB Stadium? Cos id back Arsenal to overturn it at Highbury, but going away needing a two goal win will be tough.

dont worry Oranje , we still have a chance in the second leg . Smile It was a pretty boring match to be honest and both teams were poor really , Wigan got the goal but i hope Arsenal can turn it around at Highbury . At least we should play some of the big guns for that although Wengers policy has been to stick with the youngsters in recent years for this competition .

Sorry guys, it's not that I' gave up on Arsenal, it's that I totally spaced out and forgot about the second leg because I was trying to get the score posted at the final whistle. No, I'm not giving up on them, but I'll be honest and say if we don't play better Wigan will than be thru....! Our advantage is that we're at Highbury and are record speaks for itself there.......

Sorry for the 'flashback' to my youthful days, but believe me, it was an honest mistake...... Embarassed

It was a really boring game, I gave up watching it when the floodlights failed. I still think Arsenal will win and we can get our revenge for the FA cup final.

i am not so sure unless Wenger sticks a few more of his big guns on at Highbury . We didnt really trouble Wigan that much to be honest .

Yes. And I think Wenger made the right decision there. The Carling Cup has become a precious commodity these days ...................

Well played Wigan tonight, they were the second best team by a long way but came up with a last minute goal to send them into the final.......congratulations wigan....

And i'm delighted too for Stephane Henchoz who i think was wrongly kicked out of Anfield,he deserves another chance, and i'm glad he's getting it

Arsenal is definately wobbling, but we should not discredit Wigan for hanging around for 120 minutes, and getting the win in their stadium in the first leg.....Well done Wigan....and Arsenal seems to take 1 step forward, then 2 steps back......troubling days at Highbury....

Wigan deserved to go through, they should have had at least 2 penalties when Roberts was brought down and mabye even a 3rd when the keeper tripped Chimbonda. Great performance from Pollitt, he was almost unbeatable. Its great to see Wigan in the final considering they were playing non league football in 1986 and they could now be in Europe next year.

Im dissapointed we cant get revenge on Arsenal in the final but I ant complain really
