I thought 1-0, Stelios scoring, but put my money on Henin to win the tennis instead of betting on us to lose Crying or Very sad

Wenger should never of put out a weakened side. That is Arsenals chances of winning a medal gone completely down the pan. I personally dont think they are consistant enough to win the CL. They are playing for a top 4 place now.

Risky stuff by Wenger.

Great result by Brentford, DJ Campbell had some cracking finishes.

well , i am very dissapointed right now . The FA Cup is Arsene Wengers speciality and hoped we could get to the final again . I didnt think either team played that well and it was just a lack of concentration by Senderos and Campbell that has cost us the game . It was a fine header by Stelios but he should never have been allowed the space to do that . The injury to Henry forced Wenger to rest him otherwise he would have played no doubt . Now only the Champions League remains to play for and that should be an easy game at least ..... Rolling Eyes

Nice optimism Conner. You never know really. But I felt Arsenal had more than enough chances to win the game despite fielding a "weakened" side.

Good win for United today, should have been more than 3-0, were heading for the final again!

Great win against Sunderland, Campbells been a great buy. Hopefully we get Southampton in the 5th round again like last year. We should have won then but hopefully we get revenge this year

We fielded a team, who lacked 8 first team players against Bolton. But I felt we could have won the game. We created more chances than Bolton, hit the bar twice and had a few shots just wide. Apart from Campbell, Ljungberg and Almunia - Look at the ages of the rest of the players. 24 or under.

Gilbert and Djourou played great for their age and experience. Campbell was great first half and showed form and Senderos played great in a not-so-familiar position. The goal was down to Bolton hassling Gilbert with Davies. Davies got behind Gilbert, and held it up easily whilst laying it back for a neat cross which met Stelios' nut. Campbell was to blame as he didn't watch the tight line of the defence and didn't step out, hence keeping Stelios onside.

Not to worry - Big prospects for next season, and we can still finish in top 3 and get something from the CL.

yes i dont know what it is with Arsenal these days , we have the chances but cannot seem to finish at the moment . Jose Reyes is one who has had more than enough chances to score a few this season but seems to spend most of his time looking for free kicks instead of getting on with it . just bad defending for the goal by Stelios , he had bags of space to get the header on target .

Liverpool didn't had it easy either. We won but only just. I'm really worried. Of the goals Liverpool conceded in the past few games, (2-2 against Bolton, 1-0 against Man Utd and now 2-1 against Portsmouth) three of them came from free kicks on that right wing of ours. Ferdinand, Rahdi Jaidi and now Davies scored similar goals. Heading free kicks that come in from that area.

I dont think they can realistically finish in the top 3 J-Axe, if you consider United & Pools form and Arsenals inconsistancy then they would be lucky to finish 4th this season
